I love the tip about adding weight to jerk baits. It's probably very important to add equal balance to the hooks so it doesn't kill the intended action. I'll be trying that for sure. Thanks for sharing these.

I’m excited to try the clatter craw and been having a lot of success on a jerk bait is shallower water around small shad. Thank you for your monthly bait picks. It gives me a great starting point to bring to the lake.

Great info Edwin! Use my fly lead wire on some lures in the river for Steelhead, never thought about it for sinking a jerk bait. Did the off the cuff ideas to give a new use or presentation.

Man, I've been waiting for those clatter craws to hit the market. I've been hearing about the jack also. Two baits I'd love to get .y hands on. I used the weighted wire on a jerkbait last year. I've not had luck with suspend dot. Great info and baits as always.

Like your choices for October baits
Really struggled the past month but fall tends to start fitting my style better. I like the Stunna already but really need the deeper version. I need to learn to throw the lipless cranks, but this will be the first year we have a lot of grass in our lake. That craw is interesting something different.
