29k mile 6.0!!!!! You seem to attract the rare ones. That 56k one was low mileage but 29k?? Where has it been all these years? Coincidentally I am also 6 hours away. You may see me yet. Beautiful to see that valley squeaky clean in prep for the new cooler. First time to see the half turbo removal method to get the intake manifold out. Very clever.
Its hard to find someone that knows what they're doing with these motors. Wouldn't be surprised if you start getting trucks from across the nation if you aren't already.
I plan on dropping my 2005 Excursion off this summer/ winter and have him go trough it. I’m $16K spent and its still having issues. I’m done with my current location.
Great work as always. I live in KC and plan to make a similar trip at some point. Question - You mention 540 Rotella ELC coolant (not sure why you call it "540"). I am planning on changing out the coolant on my 2001 7.3, do you recommend Rotella ELC or Rotella ELC NF? I didn't realize there even was an "NF" maybe it is the new and improved???
I've wondered if the heavier oils are a detriment to these motors. I live in southern AZ so temp wise, its justified in the summer months. But maybe i need to give 10w30 another shot.
If your blowing standpipe o-rings start watching HPOP psi and voltage. See what your maxing out at. If IPR screen or IPR is clogged you will start spiking HPOP psi.
@@issacwhitley5929 Pull cluster check the signal to PCM from cluster(wiring test). The cpu chip on the cluster each pin controls different lights and devices. Just one pin starting to lift and you get single items start to drop. You can press on the cpu with everything connected to see if you get an ABS light to come on with KOEO. Can also unplug a wheel sensor to force the light on for trouble shooting.
What do you think of bullet proof billet block off plate and external cooler, oil filter and auxiliary oil filter? I paid big money to have the"5" fail points replaced on an "07" that i had. It was a great truck when it started. navijunk and ford screwed a lot of guys big time. Im sure you told that kid the early warning signs of a lifted head from a failed egr cooler and oil cooler. Especially with a beautiful tow rig like that.
I have an 2006 f250 with the 6.0 that I bought new as my retirement present to myself, it just turned 25,000 miles on her, love your videos 👍😁

original orange hose on the EGR it looks like.
I should ship you my truck
I just found out Rotella 15w40 kept blowing stand pipes and IPR valve in my 06

@@APGJuggernaut ya I’m in flagstaff I just switched to Motorcraft oil see how that does.
All those psi’s are great they don’t spike. I am 95% confident it was the oil. Time will tell.
Good thing you got to that one w i t h such low mileage before the major damage that was inevitably going to happen
Have a 04 already studded and deleted. What’s a ball park to get the oil cooler replaced?
$800 labor plus oil cooler, oil change, coolant, vc9 and intake gasket set.
@AutomedicGarage what state are you in?

pull out the cluster take to to someone to resolder the connection for main cpu and the ribbon cable.
@@gonesilent2814 you think it’s in the cluster everything else works but like i said no abs lights on just doesn’t show speed
