Aunt Galya is an amazing woman. Her house is spotlessly clean; she makes her own bread, jam, and more; she takes good care of her animals and has a nice garden; she's always happy, is a wonderful hostess, and can even touch the ground at age 70. Her embroidery is beautiful. She's blessed that her TV isn't working now. Big hugs for her from Seattle.

I'm almost as old as Aunt Galya and find it amazing how different people live. I prefer the simple life like Galya, large gardens, cows, chickens and quiet countryside. My feeble mind can't imagine wanting to live any other way no matter how much wealth I might have. I often wonder what % people in the world would be happy living this way as contrast to flashing lights, noisy highways and pre-processed food containing chemicals I can't pronounce.

@@RussianPlus I think the main cause of this war was the feeling of mutual hatred ( Russian & Ukrainian ultra nationalism) which was fanned by some internal and external forces of both sides with the connivance of their business partners and military strategists for their political and commercial interests.Media proven to be their strongest weapon. The only way to put an end to this conspired conflict which has been going on for the last decade and a half is by eliminating the negative feeling of mutual hatred & distrust( quite a hard task at this juncture) and the conspirators, war mongers that have fanned it. Without this solution, everything else is a temporary solution with which war can be postphoned or avoided for a while but cannot be ended. I've lived in cities and suburbs and this is far better. I don't farm, I buy all of my food. I want for nothing. Beautiful country life. Aunt Galya is a hard working woman and her embroidery is just beautiful. It's good to have a hobby. I would like to visit Aunt Galya too, to see her flower garden and the cats. It was nice you helped with the weeding. It reminds me of the farm my in-laws had, 60 years ago in Germany..Almost the same setting. I am now 81 yrs, living in Australia and also baking my own bread.
I wish this war will go away soon. I am really ashamed of the Russian bashing that's going on in the German mainstream media. We people are all the same, Russian, Ukraine, European, Australian etc. We just want to live in peace.

The household is kinda messy and uncared for at he same time though.

Thanks, Slava for this fascinating, uplifting and heartwarming video. Your aunt is such an industrious woman with great values and common sense. Unfortunately, people like her are not so prevalent in our world today. Many people could learn so much from her just by observing her everyday lifestyle. By the way, I love dill. I have a recipe that a friend from Germany gave me for cooking a pork tenderloin. It uses fresh dill, onions, paprika and white wine. It is so delicious 😋. It is great to have some spaezle as a side dish with it. Dill pickles and dill relish are also quite tasty. Sanctions seem to hurt the common people more than any government or their leaders. All I can do is pray for understanding and peace for all people everywhere. I realize that is an "impossible dream" but we must always strive for a world where everyone can live their lives in peace. Take care and have a safe, healthy and happy month of July. 👍🤗❤️🙏🌎

Wonderful video story telling Slava @RussianPlus I enjoy it when you show your family life. It shows what kind of a person you really are. You have a nice family, though I am a little worried about Vika - she seems depressed. So, I hope she finds some joy again. I know that unexpected things come up in our lives and they can take a turn. I trust she will ultimately grow and become a wise young lady. She has so much in front of her, but she will have to see that for herself! Aunt Galya is wonderful. I love her lifestyle, with her chickens, kitties (company and love no doubt), garden, and generous and humorous spirit. It's good to see sweet Elina by your side too. About the "pancakes"; they look more like crepes - a thin form of "pancake", French in origin I believe, and usually rolled with goodies inside, to me. They look delicious.
