The All-State question was hilarious 😂
It was absolutely hilarious, but as even newcomer Dwayne pointed out, there's really only one answer, so in that regard, it wasn't a great MG question.

I think Gary genuinely believes he's funny. 🤔 He's not. Gene was such an outrageously awesome host; remarkably opposite of his biggest "competition", Bob Barker! Richard constantly had his little gems to throw out there. This was such a fun show!

The 70's was a time where smoking on set was perfectly fine, Charles Nelson Reilley smoked a pipe on set a fair number of times while on Match Game.

that question is not fair, is too easy, i would want to see the other contestants win the game, but that question for the other one was too easy, she could have won but didn't because of that question.

Kind of a hard one. My first thought was bar none, but I figured it was too obscure. Bar fly? Bartender? I figured bartender was the most common thing.
Contestant said Bar bells (which I hadn't thought of) and Richard's Bar keeper struck me as not that great of a response. Gene also mentioned bar stool.
My thought was 'bartender'.

I liked Brett until I saw the MG documentary where she said she was happy when Richard Dawson gave the wrong answers in Super Match. Aside from being supremely petty against Richard, it goes against helping the contestants win, which is unacceptable in my book. Can’t see her the same now.
Get help. Brett was only speaking the TRUTH. Gene has also said that Richard had a big ego. Go look it up if you don't believe me no one liked him and I'm glad. I'm SO glad Brett finally opened up to what Richard was REALLY like and how they were all THRILLED he screwed up a Head-to-Head because I am too. Everyone was THRILLED he also left the show. To whoever likes Dickie Dawson you're all sick in the head. How Richard treated Brett is unacceptable and how he also treated Charles and Fannie Flagg one episode. I'll never understand how he lasted that long.

I think he reverted to his radar character in whining and crying and begging Mark Goodsen to stay on the show until Charles comes back which can`t come too soon! He`s made himself too comfortable on the show and probably promised some "favors" to the producers to stay put until Charles`s return.

Fannie Flagg would have been great up there. Brett and she were friends almost like Charles N Riley was. It would have been catty and funny. Too bad.
