I found this old dresser at a thrift store for $25.
I was wanting a new bathroom vanity for the bathroom that we were remodeling. When I saw this dresser I immediately thought of transforming it into a bathroom vanity.
The dresser just needed a little repair work. I refinished the top of the dresser.
I purchased a glass sink from Amazon along with a brass tone faucet.
Everything came together great and we now have a one-of-a-kind bathroom vanity.

Wow! I'd be washing my hands 10 times a day if I had a vanity like that.
Although I am not a fan of the salad bowl sink look, you did a great job. I love the gold faucet. And I especially love the finish on the dresser. Very nice.
I love this. I have had the dresser but was apprehensive about doing it. You make it seem doable. Thanks for great instructions.
Beautiful work!! And one of the best detail verbal & video clips! Thank you!!
This vidéo is exactly what i needeed 😮 Thank you for sharing 😀
This is just what I was looking for! Great instructions - now to find a vintage dresser to fit my space. Thank you!
Beautiful!♥️
Beautiful!
It's gorgeous!
Fabulous job. Well done. It looks beautiful.
Good job, I love it !
It really turned out nice! And you made it look so easy. Thanks
Great job 👏. Looks beautiful 🤩
I love😍 it! Acurate job.
Love it.
Wow, beautiful!
this is beautiful
Love it‼️ This has. Even a project I have longed to do for several years!! My husband is only handy if the project involves 4 wheels and a big motor! 🤷♀️😏
Excellent!
très joli!!! bravo. thanks.
Amazing 👍🏻
Great idea! I love upcycling vintage furniture to use in different ways. I've just turned a vintage sideboard into a kitchen sink unit. So much cheaper and much better quality than normal kitchen furniture.
I would LOVE to see that. I cannot picture it.

Lovely
It’s stunning 🤩
Thanks!
Im planning on doing this with an antique vanity soon.
Very cool... gives me ideas & that's dangerous.
Im also going to do it to an antique side board for the kitchen.
Price is spot on!
It looks really beautiful! Nice job, I missed how he attaches the drawers back together.
Thank you for watching!
Unfortunately I missed filming him installing the sides.
Maybe you could place a brass towel rail on the side for your hand towel.
That’s a great idea! I haven’t thought of that.
Looks nice but if you ever have an emergency and have to turn off the water. That could be a problem since you’ll have to move the vanity to get to the shut off valve
We didn’t mount the dresser so it can easily be pulled out to access the pipes.
hello could i protect the top with an exterior varnish? One for painting sheds with. Thanks a lot for your video!
I used a oil base sealer and it has held up great. A exterior sealer would probably work great.
Looks amazing!!! Did you glue the sink down to the top or it is just held in place with the ring around the drain hole?
It is held in place with the plumbing.
How do the bottom drawers work? I’ve thought of actually making doors of the bottom drawer fronts and put
The lower two drawers work as normal. We were able to fit the plumbing in so we only had to cut out the top draw a little.
Nice but what about the gapping hole BEHIND the vanity?
We still have some more trim work to do in the bathroom but we haven’t gotten to that yet. But for the most part the open space isn’t visible and if we ever have any plumbing issues than we can always easily access all the plumbing.
Thanks for watching! 😄
Were you able to limit the travel of the faucet so that it would not discharge water onto the top of the dresser?
We haven’t had any trouble with the faucet. It’s been working great!
I reckon that waste is too high but it's a good job
did you sand down and restain the whole dresser or just the top?
I just refinished the dresser top. For the rest of the dresser I just touched up with some stain where there was any scratches and scuffs.
What height was your dresser? Hoping to do something similar but dont want to end up with something too tall!
The dresser is 34 inches tall.
I have done very similar with Woodglut designs.
Do you sandpaper wood before you stain it?
Yes I sanded down the old finish before I stained it.
What did u do to rehab the rest of the dresser ? It was dull and scratched
I just went over it with the stain and that shined it up really nicely.
Thank you for watching!
I AM DOING THIS I AM DOING THIS I AM DOING THIS?
Is this waterproof
Yes, We used a oil based sealer and it is very much water proof and water resistant.
