Despite being a box office failure upon it's release, Labyrinth has become a cult classic and true Jim Henson masterpiece. Watch me sculpt one of the main characters, Jareth, The Goblin King in this full process tutorial video. Watch me make his armature, sculpt him from polymer clay, paint him with acrylics and add doll hair.

What makes your sculptures unique and amazing is the tim burton looking style.

We all KNOW why you couldn't make this "more realistic." Hes awesome, this has been my favorite movie since i was a kid. I would really love to see you do the worm, Sir Didymus, and the door guards.
Your version of Jareth is beautiful! I've been a fan since it was released (yes, I be old) and am so glad it's appreciated now. Henson was always ahead of his time and it's a real shame both Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal didn't do better when they were released. Both movies were fantastic.

Awsome!!!! You caught his smirk, the hair and the clothes so well. I watched this several times at the cinema when it was released and broke three vhs tapes due to watching it too often... Labyrith, Star Wars (4-6) and Rocky Horror Picture Show are my favourite and most watched movies of all time.

FANTASTIC JARETH! You did his hair perfectly. Would love to see more characters (The Worm and Hoggle). I would love to see you do some of the characters from Johnny Depp's version of Alice through the looking glass. Colors and costumes are fantastic; seeing them in creepy fashion would be even better. Did you ever see any of the Puppet Master movies? Your version of those would be creepier and better. I hope you keep making these videos no matter the characters. Love, love, love what you do.

For in the future, if you want to make bangs you can glue the hair the opposite way then fold it over, if it doesn’t want to stay down you can just apply some heat!

I’m with everyone else that would love to see an entire Labyrinth series! 💜 Ludo is my fav.
I use GemTac for rhinestones. E-6000 (available in a huge tube and a tiny tube with little metal applicator) works really well for rhinestones if they’re on moving pieces like shoes, clothing, etc. but stinks so much until dried, although it remains flexible.
Aileen’s tacky glue works for sequins and glitter. I like the acrylic paint with extra fine glitter in it so it’s not coating every surface when I’m done.
To quote Demetri Martin, “Glitter doesn’t go away. Glitter is the herpes of craft supplies.” 😅

I took one look at this thumbnail and started trying to imagine a version of labyrinth where everyone and every thing other than Jerith Sara Toby Abrusisous and the helping hand were people and those individuals/creatures were all Muppets. Also as far as adding sequins and glitter goes I think the nail art world likely has your best solutions, though I've seen miniature painters use nail flakes with gloss varnish to good effect.

I love Labyrinth! Perhaps one of the Skeksis from "Dark Crystal"? Seen it a few years ago and I the Skeksis design scared the crap out of me (as well as one screaming as he was being lynched) but after watching Age of resistance I love everything about it.

Love it!!! That's been my absolute favorite movie since it came out when I was three! Been thinking about doing a shoulder puppet of the worm for awhile now; I'd love to see your take on some of the other other characters from it!
And I feel your pain about the glitter on your desk; This sounds silly but I recommend a "glitter vac" It's just a handheld little thing they have at Hobby Lobby for about $10 but dude...It works wonders in that situation; Best spur of the moment purchase I've made this year!

I don't care if you never do anything else... this is my FAVORITE!!! That glitter on the jacket...! Wow!! I've always loved the Goblin King, this movie is still in my top 10. And... for the record, my friends and I went to see this in the theater when it came out and we LOVED It!! "Just let me rule you, and I will be your slave." Sexy David Bowie...we were swooning in the theater over that.

You did a phenomenal job on this! I love David Bowie! The only thing you missed was his different sized pupils. Granted, at the scale you made him, it would be less noticeable, and thus harder to replicate, so you are forgiven...lol

Great job! I saw Labyrinth in the theater when it came out. I was an adult and I loved it! Went to conventions and saw lots of Jareths mostly played by women but what a great job they did! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Miss Bowie and his great acting as well. 💚
