In a cozy old cottage, by the hearth's warm embrace,
Lived a dear granny, with a secret in place.
Upon her silvered hair, a mystery hid,
A monstrous companion, 'neath her kerchief, she'd bid.
Watch me sculpt this creepy Granny out of polymer clay and paint her with acrylics. In this full process tutorial I go through creating the armature, sculpting her face, adding all the little details and finishing her with a subdued color palette.

I think this is an excellent idea. She looks like a frail old lady who couldn't harm a fly but then there's that other side to her. I love the way she looks down and nervous but that could be part of her act!

It would be so cool if you could make a BIG cemetery scene.
Mausoleum, tombstones, skeletons, ground breakers. Etc. 🧡🖤
You should make a character based on ai generated people, with wierdly misformed hands, and faces that look fine til you get a closer look. It would be very creepy and off-putting, just up your alley!
She is the sweet grandmother that everyone deserves, but she is weighed down by all the risks and concerns of her beloved children. Most of their problems can be handled with responsibility and communication. Some of them... Must be handled in other ways...
That’s awesome. You know what you should try to make? creepy monster nesting dolls. Might be your biggest challenge but I bet you can do it.

Kinda reminds me of a doll I had as a kid. It was the grandma and the Big bad wolf. One end had the Grandma, and when you pulled her skirt over her head, the wolf was there dressed as Grandma. (sounds weird when I type that out) But if you know the kind of doll I'm talking about, you know what I mean. lol
Anthony, I want those detail brushes that say Ace of Clay. I hope you are testing them & will sell them. They look like they feel good & the hairs look like they're staying together well when you use the brush. Please I hope you're going to have them in your shop. Love granny!!!
I don't remember what it's called bit I could swear there's a Yokai (traditional Japanese monster) just like this. A woman with a monster on the back of her head. If I recall correctly it comes about when a woman refuses to take proper care of her children/ stepchildren. The second mouth (not a full face? ) eats her food when she tries to eat.
My granny actually had a secret. She spoke perfectly french. And we never knew...

I had a doll like this. One side was Little Red Riding Hood, and the other side was a wolf in Granny’s clothing.
She could use a scarf or shawl or something to cover her shoulders. More creepy imo. But great otherwise😁
