In fact it´s seems unbelievable for todays "standards", not for back in those days where incredible music/musicians waited at every corner for you to discover...
@@matto9734 I think there are still some great new music/musicians out there to be discovered right now it’s just that back in the early 70s you had to be really good to get anywhere in the business so almost anyone who made it into the public consciousness had some musical credibility whether you liked their style/genre or not. The Simon Cowell type boy band construction mogul had not really got going and there was no digital enhancement to allow pretty boys and girls with zero musical talent to digitally fake their way to the top. Now the really good musicians are often swamped by such a tidal wave of algorithm and focus group generated digitally enhanced mediocrity that it is really difficult to get heard never mind break through to a wide audience.
My favorite Zeppelin song, my favorite version of the song, and Jimmy's guitar fits this song perfectly. Probably my favorite guitar part from anyone at any time.
I spent hours studying for school listening to this!!! Smoking grass, drinking Whiskey, getting perfect scores at school...Led Zeppelin formed my youth, plus, playing along with them on drums and guitar
Watch the whole movie The Song Remains The Same. See what made Zeppelin so famous with their live concerts. Especially Jimmy Steph. When I first started to play guitar, I would watch this concert over and over to learn Jimmy's style and tricks. He is a wizard. Still to this day I've never seen anyone play a 12 string guitar like he does on The Song Remains The Same. Love your reactions.😊🎸
Every type of music has a peak period- classical was Mozart and Beethoven, Jazz was Miles Davis and John Coltrane (just my opinion, of course), and I think 100 years from now people will still be playing this and say this was rock's golden era and Led Zeppelin, and a few others, represented the pinnacle. I was a college student when LZ hit and I never thought I'd still be listening to them in my 70s. But I also still listen to Beethoven and Miles Davis for the same reason- the perfection of their music transcends their era and lives on for as long as people can recognize and appreciate greatness.
Okay I will admit it. I grew up in the best time for music. I’m glad I was there, even though I’m old now. Lol. Sorry you weren’t there we would have had fun. Lol.
Most and I mean , not many bands are capable of the chemistry and talent this legendary band had. The had like ESP on stage. They never knew where Jimmy might go but they were always spot on. Timeless Masters.
I don't have to imagine what it was like to be there for this concert because I was there in Madison Square Garden when this was recorded. The song remains the same concert
I remember you playing the studio version and I was thinking to myself God I wish you play the live version. And you did and not only that there is a couple of live versions out there and this was a really decent recording I always get the chills when Robert sings in the song put the play live they always have so much extra thank you for the reaction
See if you can find a video called "The Song Remains the Same". It's a documentary/concert movie of the video you just watched. It's awesome and you'll see another side of the band.
Can you truly pick a number one song and guitar solo ? - ABSOLUTELY !!! Loved your reaction and loved that as a reactor, you listened to the music and didn’t get sidetracked by the video. True Jimmy Page fan
Led Zeppelin is an icon. Fantastic! I loved your reaction and would like to ask you to react to the Brazilian Gabriel Henrique singing the acoustic version of Vision Of Love by Mariah Carey. The video was released on October 20th on his official UA-cam channel. It's amazing!
You all can keep your solo from Stairway to Heaven, or Dazed and Confused. Hands down this is my favorite Jimmy Page guitar work. The way he plays this live is unique, starts of with a jazz feel.
Awesome this sound! I would like to see her react to the Brazilian Gabriel Henrique singing the acoustic version of Vision of love, posted on October 20 on his UA-cam channel. Grateful
Steph like I suggested before, the best version out there video and sound is No Quarter [1975/05/24@ London, England] the channel is Led Zeppelin Archives, it has about 2.9 million views and it goes for 23.6 minutes, it blow you away guaranteed!
Incrível saudações queria pedir pra vc reagir ao gabriel henrique cantando vision of love (acoustic version)lançado no dia 20 de outubro em seu canal oficial no UA-cam ❤
It doesn't matter how bad or good the video quality is, look at the number of views. First timer tonight and I've already watch three. You've got great tunes and cool vibe. cheers from an old canadian.

You should watch the movie based on this concert. It's called The Song Remains the Same. It'll explain some of the live versions you have watched and reacted to.
One of their very best epics, live it took on a life of it own and often went 20+ minutes as Jones, then Page, took extended, ever evolving solos. It is so sad solos are not nearly as prominent in popular music as they were back then. No one solos like Zeppelin (or Pink Floyd). You need to hear the studio original if you have not, for sure. This band was utterly sick, in the best way possible. For another live epic, try How Many More Times live from Royal Albert Hall 1970, 20 minutes of ripping Jimmy Page plus the best jamming from this amazing band. Plant is God! You still have much to hear my dear, lucky you! Enjoy. 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶🔥
To give no quarter to not take prisoners in battle, to take no quarter to fight to the death and not surrender so in the song they must get the message through to do so they will not take prisoners and fight to the death to deliver the message.
Easily Jimmy's best solo, even though it's patched together from several performances during the MSG leg of that tour. But the solo is a masterpiece on its own.
Visually this is just a fan-edit so it's kind of boring, but sound-wise, this is the complete one. Even the movie cuts out the first part of the great guitar solo. Only Page could figure out how to make jazz sound mysterious!
Despite Plant's reluctance, tracks like this tend to prove the link between what was then heavy rock and what subsequently became heavy metal. This is almost a lost term in pop music.
There are 3 songs you MUST listen to babe....This one, Tobacco Road (Twin Albinos Johnny & Edgar Winter), Edgar plays like 4 instruments plus sings, then the entire Dark side of the Moon album (start to finish...song 1 till the end)!!! Honorable mention Stevie Ray Vaughn Texas Flood!!!!
Hello! I liked your reaction. You gave the impression that you pay attention to every detail. I would like you to react to the Brazilian singer Gabriel Henrique, singing Vision Of Love (acoustic version), posted on October 20th, on his official UA-cam channel.(GabrielHenriqueMusic)
This concert had some subpar, even lazily perfomed songs. But everything off of their 'new' album (1973) Houses of The Holy, was performed very well, like this one. Robert couldn't hit the high notes in "Over The Hills..." like he could a year earlier, but overall it was done well. Page and Bonham were great in Dazed also, which was of course an oldie.
Jimmy's the best, Your reaction is perfect, please react to Gabriel Henrique singing "Vision of Love" by Mariah Carey, video he posted on his UA-cam 20 october
My favourite live performance ever. Jimmy's best solo too imo
Yes!! I agree,,
Absolutely agree with you
Athree!

51 years ago, seems unbelievable!
And still as great as the day we all saw it in the theater for the first time!

JPJ can play any instrument put in front of him !!!! Now writing scores for films - just shows how talented he is
Jimmy's finest and one of the greatest guitar solos of all time. Lyrical, fluid and steeped in emotion...just perfect.
JPJ playing the bass line using a series of pedals under the keyboard- unbelievable!!!!!
All organ players do that, so... not really unbelievable ;-)

You need to watch the movie of this Concert it is awesome!
The little boy Robert picks up at 9:00 is Karac Plant. Sadly died at the age of 5 in 1977 when Zep were on tour in America.
Robert struggled to deal with it hard as we can imagine.
Yeah he was on the verge of leaving Zeppelin and music. 😕

The Royal Albert Hall 1970 is even better.
Yes! Killer set of tunes from the first 2 albums, the focus is on ROCK in their becoming superstars. How lucky are those people up against the stage!
Thank you for reacting. Love this song!

one of my favorite guitar riffs
If you liked it, watch it done in the reunion concert 35 years later. Still awesome.
JPJ is a whole orchestra on his own. .Such a powerful and captivating song. Noone could ever come closer to the GOATS
I envy you for discovering this masterpiece only now. This MSG 1973 Live version was the best possible choice indeed.
You all can keep your solo from Stairway to Heaven, or Dazed and Confused. Hands down this is my favorite Jimmy Page guitar work. The way he plays this live is unique, starts of with a jazz feel.
