He shows up most for me on the corner of Pearl Ave and Lotus St. I don't even bother looking around for him, I just keep traveling to the taxi point near that corner, then check the corner. Traveling to the same taxi point over and over till he's at that corner. Most it took me was 4 or 5 tries.
Apart from the vendor, dungeon and public toilets you can get it, you can also get it from the Sewer Enemy's drop that ambush you when you get close to the manhole
I built both of them Legendary Hero's bat is pretty cool cause it has a chance of cause additional damage after finishing one basic attack, and Ultimate Egesta has the chance benefits of causing poison and blind to the enemy, both are great options and don't worry you can craft both eventually unless you sold the original Hero's Bat.
@shenmuebaloff I built both as well. The Legendary Hero Bat was easily the best option as it's damage output was much higher and has an additional lighting strike damage hitting the enemy.
Im in chapter 5 in the night time segment right after unlocking the labyrinth dungeon. I've tried reloading save and checking every street in Chinatown, then reloading. I've tried existing the game, loading save, checking every street. I've tried checking every street in Chinatown and then taking a taxi before checking again and the damn bastard won't spawn. Does he not spawn at night???
It's been a while since I played the game so I forgot the street names, however if you take a taxi to the top left corner of Chinatown, run to the street corner and look south, then rinse and repeat until he spawns. He is most likely to spawn in that area, however he can spawn in other locations in Chinatown. It's not worth your time to check every street in Chinatown, just check that corner until he spawns. It took me forever to find him the first time but after that he spawned more often. Hope this helps other people having a hard time finding him.
@@FinalFantasyFan66666 thank you, taxi is on lotus st. He also sells beautiful seashells if you guys need them. Also there's a sujimon stand you can keep grabbing to get food for your sujimon every taxi trip it resets.

There are public toilets in Hawaii and Yokohama map with them that you can check periodically, not just in the dungeons.

Does it have to be daytime? I keep trying in the mid evening when the sun is setting and have no luck finding the merchant.
Finally got the required Ethereal Egesta. Now I'm confused if I should build this bat of the True Legendary Hero's Bat. 🤔

I went to Lantern St. Entrance taxi and just kept reloading the area by paying for taxis over and over he does spawn at night though

The best hero weapons are true legendary hero’s bat and ultima egesta.
True bat almost guarantees the electric hit each strike each time making it the most useful of these highest-tier bats for IK!
Irony that the sh*ttiest bat is the best weapon in the game.
Yeah I looked at the True Legendary Hero Bat and the abilities of Ultimate Egesta is way better, currently only have 30/100 bruh
