For context this company (or the same publisher not sure) has made about 2-3 similar games that are now unplayable and release every few years. Their last game was very similar with half zombie half human hybrids that look the same as these NPC characters and the same concept of a safezone city / open world with missions / clan battles.
I don't know if anyone here's played Black desert online but this game is basically it with a reskin. From the customization to the hud showing you the waypoint, straight from that game
