I admit... before I learned about mechanics.. I was that person... drove for 20k+ miles dry in really hot temperatures for short and long trips. Decided 3 years down the road that I needed to do an oil change or something and the mechanic told me "nothing drained" so basically they just added oil and swapped filters haha

He's right though, if you have a Honda, nothing ever goes wrong, and if it does, it'll just fix itself.
Hondas are very reliable and are super easy to fix. The parts and cars are also really cheap.
Rotors on my Accord are warped. They haven't fixed themselves...

+Экспертное Подразделение Диванных Войск! It's true, Honda parts DO cost more. It's because the parts are meant to never fail, but like all parts, they'll fail at one point. And when they do, that's when it'll get expensive. Toyota/Honda parts are not that much cheaper than German.
+Экспертное Подразделение Диванных Войск! I have a BMW, honda, and toyota. Toyota has a quarter million miles + on it and still runs fine, parts weren't that expensive. I got the BMW from my aunt I just recently with 90k on the engine, after another 30k miles or so, it was running awkwardly and made some noises so I did a tune up and replaced some belts, fuel filter, idler pulleys, spark plugs, however I was looking at the service records from my Aunt and the BMW has been serviced more times than my toyota and honda and it has the least amount of miles 120k. Parts were actually more expensive than the Japanese cars but not that much, spark plugs were actually NGK, japanese made. Japan by far makes the best cars. The whole Toyota problem a while back were due to the manufacturing done in USA and not in Japan. If you don't want anything flashy and something reliable then I'd buy Toyota.
