Shawn please go into a acute care asap & be seen since you got stung by all of those bees/wasps.
I'd suggest that you keep some liquid benadryl handy so you can take it quickly when you're out & about to stop any allergic reactions that you might have due to bee/wasp stings.
I'd suggest that you guys get some bee/wasp spray to keep in your trucks & with you on your machines to stop any attacks before and/or during a attack to help minimize the severity of the bee/wasp attacks. ❤
Hope you're Ok Spencer. Word of advice though.....when you first spotted them inside the truck, you should have got out there and them and left the door open for them to clear out. Lesson learned on that one.

Ground hornets are the worst. I was digging out a shrub with a skidloader and they swarmed me in the cab and went in my clothes . The fastest I've stripped under the garden hose. Hope your not allergic take care. I foamed there holes the comb under ground filled a skid bucket
We have the ground ones in Georgia. We put gasoline in all the holes to get rid of them. Two of our three boys were allergic.
The bees may be in the pipe. Like I said last time, yellow jackets build nest in the ground. Spread Sevin dust liberally around the area where they are.

In the UK they are called Wasps and if you upset them they come for you big time hope your OK 👍

I believe they were yellow jackets. They are relentless and will continue to sting. Thank God you aren't allergic. I pushed mowed near a telephone phone once and got nailed a bunch of times.
Yellow jackets are the worst! Our German Shepherd unfortunately found a nest last year. I heard her yelping and found her digging at it. I got stung on the knee six times trying to get her away.
Get tested for Whooping cough especially if they are coughing a lot
They are couching nonstop! They go back to the doctors tomorrow.

And the crazy thing about yellow jackets they don't just sting you they can also bite you and then they release a pheromone in the air to let every other yellow jacket no hey we're in defense mode.

Two weeks ago I got stung 31 times some people called ground nesting bees, but they’re yellow jackets crossbreed with hornets
Benadryl and ice was the best thing
More yellow jackets you smashed with your hand they put off a smell and they keep attacking that smell

That's why they can sting you multiple times.
Beg to differ I got stung by a nest of them a month ago and had allergic reaction to them they pulled 8 stingers out of my legs and confirmed they were yellow jackets cause I brought one in but yes they do sting multiple times and bite to get a better grip

Bees this year in NE Ohio are brutal. I have yellow jackets in the soffit of my house and wasps are constantly getting in the toolbox of my equipment trailer. Been stung more times this year than the last 5 combined.

Yellow jackets 🐝🐝 they are super aggressive! This time of year they make their nest 🪹 in the ground! I've seen a few nests here in Tennessee already!

I remove these things as a side job and haven’t been hit that many times in a season, that sucks man! I’m just assuming but those were most likely southern Yellowjackets. We have those in PA I’m assuming you’re within their region. They are by far the most aggressive and will pursue you quite a ways. Two things caused them to go into the truck with you. One, once your stung they mark you with their scent and the rest know where to go. The second thing is with the southern Yellowjackets (mostly) they tend to cling to your clothes so when you got in the truck you probably had 20 stuck to you. I always carry Benadryl, even if you’ve never been allergic before you just never know. Heal up!
I came here to say that about being marked with a scent when you are stung. Also, when you kill one the same thing happens. The scent of the dead ones attract more yellowjackets

This happened to me last week in my back yard. Yellow jackets are very aggressive when protecting their nest. I took care of that nest the next day tho.

Shawn, it looks to me like those are Yellow Jackets. Basically a wasp with an attitude.
The motor is drawing them. The noise. Once they were stirred with the Ventrac, they chased the noise and vibration. I am sorry.
I was stung by one back in the late 1940’S when i was around 7 or 8 ,the pain lasted for days. You all have been in my daily prayers 🙏🤲✝️

If they where wasps you would have too use mud too get the singer out purifieribly clay. Because it packs better and once dries. It would pull out the singer
In California, we call them meat bees. They nest in the ground and are extremely aggressive...

I was trimming hedges and had ONE wasp nail me right between the eyes. I dropped EVERYTHING and ran across the parking lot flailing. That one sting felt like a punch in the face for a while so I can't imagine how bad it hurt for you. Sorry that happened!

Spencer,, I feel you buddy I was weed whacking a banking last year and I hit an underground ness and they just starts swarming. I got stung at least 6 times it hurt at the time, but after everything was over, I looked back at it, and I thought it was just funny
Especially I have ring cameras around my shop where else we whacking and from the time I got I started getting stung. I ran as fast as I could to get inside the shop so they couldn’t get to me.😅

I could have been in your situation today My grandma Called me last night I mowed her yard today And last night she warned me about a nest In a tree Her kind neighbors took care of that for us. I know what you're going through I got stung by bees when I was 3 years old It's not cool. Pray that you get better TQ and the kids It sucks to be sick in bed.
