I have some disagreements here. I would place tracks like Pirahna Plant Slide and Neo Bowser City as well as Bowser's Castle a lot higher. I also prefer Maka Wuhu over Wuhu Loop but at least I agree with a lot of your placements including the #32 and #1 spots.
I personally like Neo Bowser city and Piranha plant slide, Rock Rock mountain is not that exciting to me, but i totally respect your opinion and i agree on the rest of the list, excellent video!
Thank you! this was my first Mario Kart, but nostalgia aside, I've always thought this MK had the best track selection of them all! 16 truly solid nitros and 16 fan-fave retros, and when I ask my friends which MK they think has the best track selection, they always say MK8D (minus the BCP obv). Ranking the nitro tracks: 16) Cheep Cheep Cape. It’s like a mix of Cheep Cheep Beach and Koopa Cape if it was bad. The fact that this course is just a showcase for the underwater driving doesn’t help. It’s just a boring oval. It almost feels like a course ChatGPT would make rather than an official course. 15) Toad Circuit. At least it’s not as boring as some other circuits. But it’s still really bland. 14) Bowser’s Castle. One of the weakest Bowser Castles in the franchise. It just feels like Nintendo felt forced to put underwater driving somewhere in the two last tracks. The rest just sounds like they put all their ideas in one track without coherence. 13) Mario Circuit. Honestly, this might be my favorite Mario Circuit. At least I don’t fall asleep everytime I play it. But… yeah it’s a simple circuit. What did you expect? 12) Daisy Hills. Already the tracks are starting to get better. I love the cheery music of this track and the glider section is really neat. The atmosphere is charming too. 11) Maka Wuhu. Yeah it’s a bit overrated. I mean, the course is just a boring mountain for half the time. The glider section carries it hard. 10) Neo Bowser City. Great theming, great music, great layout with really tight turns. Just a shame that the course feels a little repetitive. 9) Rainbow Road. Honestly this might be the most overrated track in the whole series. The parts on the planets are really majestic at first, and still cool the other times you play them. But the rest is really slow and boring, except for the final section. It’s also WAAAAY too easy for what is supposed to be the final challenge. 8) Alpine Pass. It has a good theming. The glider sections are exhilarating. The music is a banger as well. 7) DK Jungle. I love the DKCR references here. Despite having a simple theme, the course makes up for it with fairly various scenery. You’ve got deep jungle, waterfalls, and the famous golden temple. I dig this course. 6) Melody Motorway. Great concept for a track. The music is really good, the layout is the perfect difficulty for this cup, and the obstacles are fairly varied. 5) Piranha Plant Slide. Great SMB1 theming with peak music. 4) Rosalina’s Ice World. I don’t understand the hate for this track. It’s got gorgeous scenery, and great music. The layout is the perfect difficulty, and even if the theme feels weird, the dreamy atmosphere of this track fits Rosalina pretty well. 3) Wario Shipyard. It has a unique theme that has never been done before or after. The music is peak and the atmosphere is ominous but also cool at the same time. 2) Wuhu Loop. Easily the better Wuhu track in this game. It has this vacation feeling that Maka Wuhu was kinda lacking. Plus, the music is great. There are really cool shortcuts as well. 1) Shy Guy Bazaar. Underrated gem. The music is great. The scenery is gorgeous. The part with the 2 big jumps before the glider section is really thrilling. The layout has the perfect level of difficulty here. And the theming is not only great, but also really unique.

I don’t like how Luigis mansion removed all of the Luigis mansion references from the track. Like the track is literally named after the game and based off of it to. Why did they get rid of the portrait ghosts on the walls and replace them with just ordinary boos

oh god you put 2 of my favourite tracks of the entire series at the bottom (neo-bowser city and piranha plant slide) and my favourite track of the game isnt even in the top 5 and rainbow road is slightly overrated imo (it's my top 4 of the game but i dont love it as much as most people do, isnt even in my 2 favourite rrs). I don't agree with most of the list but I respect your opinion as always. Great video though
Really dislike Mario Circuit here, because they used the castle not as much as it could be. Peach Castle really needs to become a track of its own. Also not really a fan of Music Park. its for me a bottom track honestly. Rainbow Road is cool and I think better in MK7 then the remake, but still overrated imo. I prefer the MK8 Switch Rainbow Road :D
