@@frizzysfinds So one day this fella walks into store I was part in. Traded in bunch of games and has all these posters. Well main owner no interest in the posters but I thought two of them cool and the guy tells me, $40 bucks. Probable 100 small posters in the box and two big posters those 3D kind, called "Lenticular" so view em' from an angle they appear different. Well they sat in my garage for like three years until one day decided look em' up. OH MY GOSH. One was Jurassic Park, the other Might Joe Young $1200 and $1400 respective on weBay. One of those "Uh really?" moments. So put em' up and within an hour have offer like $2200 for both. "SOLD! To the whomever wherever for whatever!" Actually some dealer out in CA deals in movie memorabilia and tells me these type posters were used in theaters. They'd backlight them and presto. So I buy this 4x8 sheet of house Styrofoam insulation, thick, sandwich them and FedEx em' out. Doesn't the place file not as described? Yep. The Jurassic Park was not what he thought, it was actually a prototype. Wants some money back, $600 done. Still way ahead the game albeit I can't say I was overjoyed. About a month after I decided to just investigate more. OH MY GOSH. The prototype was worth more albeit not a ton. However the Mighty Joe Young I find had sold at Christie's Auction House. Uhhh Yep. $7500 thereabouts sold by guess who? At that point I could have chewed re-bar and made bolts from it. LOL.
@@msunites2977 Oh My! What a crazy story and thank you for sharing. What a great flip and dang you really took on quite a shipping challenge. Anytime a reseller buys something from us we’re like wait a minute, is this worth more 😂
@@frizzysfinds Yep, I'd no indicator of value of the Might Joe Young so I just priced it in the range of Jurassic Park one. Oopsies. I actually still have the hundred or so small posters someplace they are not movie related. As I recall they're like trading card posters for like store displays, smaller that 24x36. But if you ever run across 3D movie posters or perhaps even those theater ones not 3D... Examinate! LOL. Like Kodak made ones for 2001/2010 Space Odyssey set that last I knew sell for $10,000+.
@@frizzysfinds His voice is different, but in a good way. If everyone sounded exactly the same, it would be a heckin boring world. He definitely doesn't sound like Glenn in Superstore! My word. Keep talking, Johnny!
How in the world does your channel not have more subs yet? I'm absolutely here for it when your sub numbers start multiplying weekly. 💛
Clearly because of my voice 😂 we appreciate your support so freaking much!!
@@frizzysfinds 😂😂 Definitely not, but that gave me a good laugh. ❤

Lol
😆
$1700? What did "Frizz" do when it sold? What's Frizz mean? For $1700 I hope you took out for a $200 dinner and some serious dancing!
It was the same week she had her best sale ever on top of this so she was on cloud 9 for while. It paid for our trip and then some!

I could never put my finger on who you sound like but I finally figured it out! You sound exactly like Glen From superstore!!!!
That can’t be good! 😂
Oof. You did him dirty. There’s a similar cadence, but that’s about where the similarities end.
@@alysonbowler9040 and he never spoke again 😂
