    I don't do live shows. I've watched a couple on Whatnot and purchased a 3 items. I found the the descriptions the sellers are giving and the actual condition of the items don't really match the item. So I don't buy or watch them anymore. Great sales, you both always do a great job! Have a relaxing long weekend with lots of sales!

    I think you'll find things gradually changing with Goodwill. There CEO noted early this year that whilst the Goodwill Brand is very well known offline it is not well known online and the Not For Profit means change that even citing Poshmark and others as competitors and better known in the online marketplace. They aim to change that. Where I live the Goodwill stores have all increased prices and the large bin store now is clearly filtering what goes out on the floor.

      @msunites2977 2 місяці тому

      @@frizzysfinds Its likely Shopgoodwill online will end going away in favor of a unified presence or they'll never achieve their goal. They've another venue out earlier this year that was in testing phases. They are seeking to create a more "Retail Like" presence online yet with that comes additional expense. Need specialized logistics so as the folks who will filter product can maximize doing so across physical distances. Many sellers think Goodwill is simply raising prices based in greed where-as Goodwills Not For Profit Charter is to train people for the workforce and 80% of every dollar taken in goes towards that work. They are raising prices to support the logistics that are necessary to filter merch and move towards more online brand recognition and of course online sales presence. Whilst in whole its not great news for sellers if any of us were at the helm of Goodwill we'd be looking do the same.
      All and all there is much change for third party sellers which is what you and I are on the horizon and this was clear the moment I read the first rendition of The Shop Safe Act which came about as supply chain found a business man in the Whitehouse. That opened the door that now cannot be closed. That first incarnation sought to fine any of these open marketplace for any listing that used a Trademark or even Trademark terminology as matter of law. So "Four Wheel Drive" is a trademark term of Subaru, Subaru had not even need complain if a listing on eBay or Whatnot etc used it. As matter of law say eBay would be fined. Law firms all over the country said the proposed legislation spelled the end for sellers 100%. Point is it showed the intent to stop it all. The latest incarnation right now is stalled in Congressional review. It all reads like "Stopping counterfeits" but in reality its not at all different than the first edition! Any rights holder can make claim of a item being counterfeit and its 110% up to the seller to prove its not. It will be the SAD lawsuits on steroids all across the land as the only entities who can actually prove providence are the rights holders and there is nothing in the legislation holding them accountable to that or even false claim. There is no way the bi-partisan legislation no matter its final form doesn't pass into law as no politicians nor party wants become enemy of supply chain, businesses and their employees.
      Its a sad state of affairs.

    I tried buying items on Whatnot. Everything had unrevealed damage. I tried many different sellers. I think Holes, stains, broken zippers and missing buttons is important. Sellers need to do a better job of noting defects and labeling those items RESCUES. Those items are sellable but not for everyone and not at premium prices. I was conditioned to bid $5 for good brands just in case there is repairs needs. In the end i just dont watch projects so I left Whatnot as a buyer. I cant sit there for hours to find one good resellable item not requiring repair. Sellers need to annouce whether this is their rejects for listing on Ebay and Poshmark. They can say it nicely.

    Good luck selling untested items on Ebay! Your return policy is irrelevant. Buyers can claim item is defective & you're expected to pay 2-way shipping. Bad buyers have realized they can search for "untested" items listed well below market value & gamble for free. If it works they keep profits, if it doesn't they abuse Ebay return system & pass losses onto seller.

      @frizzysfinds  2 місяці тому

      That's why we deal mostly in clothes. We always try to make sure we are detailed in the listings and if someone returns it, then they returned it. We've had buyers take NWT clothing items and manipulate pictures so it looks like not as described so it can happen to anything but that's the risk of selling online but fortunately, most people are good.

      Simply not true. I’ve sold more electronics than I can count and have been outright cheated twice. Can’t let a few bad apples cheating you out of a few dollars hold you back from thousands of dollars

    The Goodwill bins are terrible. Bunch of pathetic savages who haven't realize that $15-$25 items on Ebay are a race to bottom on price and race to top on promotion. Goodwill is out of control holding back stuff to put online. The stores are now like a garage sale in the afternoon. Difference is that Goodwill wants $5-$10 for junk that went unsold at a garage sale for $1-$2.

      @frizzysfinds  2 місяці тому +2

      We really don't consider ourselves pathetic or savages and with an ASP typically of around $50 we have no interest in racing towards the bottom. Sounds like your area offers a different experience than ours does, in terms of Goodwills. We appreciate you watching and sharing your thoughts.

    We can see your sweat in the middle of your grey tee shirt. The very pretty girl is not dressing up side. Remember you are performers once in front of the camera. If you are asking and wanting people to watch. It's not about the stuff it's all about you being attractive or interesting or a character. Watch any tutorial on how to present to the camera. You will be amazed if you learn a thing or two. YOUR viewership will increase. The man must always look into the lens, not back and forth to the woman. The woman is the center and she can play it anyway she likes to camera and to the man who mostly looks to camera. Please no dumpy store room backdrop. Also both yes both should wear makeup. The man just needs a warm overall foundation. The girl can glam it up anyway she pleases with each episode slightly a different look. His makeup for each episode must stay the same and constant. If you do this I guarantee your viewership will more than double.
