People saying resellers are taking from others is just ignorant. US has 20 million tons of clothing waste every year. Fashion is the 2nd most harmful industry after oil. I think resellers are good 👍🏼
Love watching you guys. Our goodwill stores in FL are crazy. Clothes were $5.99 up until about 3 months ago.. Just hoping to see some of the over priced stuff end up in the bins…
Florida GW's are pricey for sure! The stuff behind the counters are almost laughable but even though we knock on Sarasota's bins, we've actually done well there. Thanks for watching!!
I was at a Goodwill and all the men's shirts were so packed too that you struggled to see what you were looking at! I wonder if the people that think resellers buy everything and are the reason prices went up have ever been thrifting, or paid attention to how everything's increasing in every store and service nowadays. Every thrift store I go to is FULL of stuff to the point it can be a bit overwhelming and crowded, usually reasonably priced too for the average customer (and if not search on eBay or other platforms to see if you can find it cheaper/better condition), so no need to worry about it all being taken. 😂
It is harder in the last few years to get good brands because they get snapped by resellers. Add that to the fact they price up the items so much which is sad. They don’t sell so they go to the bins and then the landfill
The panic in Johnny’s voice over the throwback 🤣 Glad it was still there. Also, I was so glad y’all raised the question of the difference between Standard James and (just) James Perse. Hoping one of your viewers knows cuz my google search has never turned up much for an explanation. I do love selling it! Frizzy- love the metallic nails!!! Also, I lot up less substantial pieces or “basics” in the hopes of saving them from the landfill. Sometimes I will include a slightly flawed one in a lot/bundle of 3-5 (with disclosure, of course). Any plans to do a Q&A? I am curious about so many things, but don’t want to be nosey without permission lol. Hope y’all had a nice trip! 🩷 Keep us posted on metrics of the listing challenge 🙌
Saw boots yesterday at a goodwill marked up to 100 dollars. And thanks for showing the Lululemon tag symbol on one of your videos. I came across 3 men’s sweaters for 5.98 each at a goodwill. Glad i looked and recognized the symbol that’s to you 2. Came in 3’s too. Comps are around 90 to 100 on them. They fit me too. lol.
❤❤congrats on your finds , Frizzy I like your style , you are gorgeous as always . I laughed out loud when Johnny was talking about “resellers don’t leave clothes for the needy “🤡 I remembered one of your viewers who was raging about resellers and refused to subscribe 😂
@@frizzysfinds agreed. They use resellers as an excuse for their exorbitant prices and people get made at us when the blame lies solely with the thrift store.
And those prices!!! I’m in shock! So crazy and they will never sell things at those prices. I’m thankful to be in small town Iowa where things are super affordable.
Thrift stores are seriously forgetting who their actual customer base is and its hurting them, as it should. 2 Thrift stores in my area decided to jack up their prices for the past couple years and they went from having a busy parking lot most days to just a barren lot every time we drove passed them. Both closed earlier this summer. That's the price of greed. Still have 4 others around here who have very reasonable prices thankfully. Hopefully they learn from the ones that closed! Also congrats on your finds!
