I think stefano is exceptionally good at rests that require alternating arms. he seems to be able to (and says so himself) recover exceptionally well and be able to recover on very small holds
Knee bars don't count.... As long as you can bear the pain it's basically a full reset 😕 Stefano's ability to recover on actual holds is unmatched for sure. Adam can just find knee bars everywhere 😂
@@danielfry8097 kneebar are something else but to say it doesn't count ? First what counts, we're a bunch of people trying to get on top of rocks ffs. Second have you tried to rest on a bad kneebar because I have and it's not just about pain. You have to have some calves I don't !

These videos are my favorite of any climbing video to watch. Stefano's calm narration is so captivating and soothing. They could film him getting groceries at the market and add a voice over and I would watch.😆
What a beautiful performance. Thanks for putting this up uncut! The commentary was so good too, put me on an emotional roller coaster. Think we all know that feeling of topping on something we didn't fully believe we could finish (in a certain time frame anyway).
Thank you for the release! I got so excited my roommates wondered what was going on haha. Can't wait to follow you through your next project! Grande Stefano 🙌
Grande!
Man, it seems Stefano is so good at resting that if he finds the right route to really leverage that strength then maybe just maybe a 15d could be within reach.
Just look at the video of silence how much effort cost to adam to finish the line... Totally different from bibliographie, a way too difficult in my opinion
@@SUM1518 i think adam route is beautiful, mix different aspect of climbing,, route like perfecto mundo or bibliographie is more about finger strengh, more simple because its more like basic climbing move but at top level.. But that what make all this route amazing because they have different style
Amazing climber Stefano but now pro climbers commenting the whole routes is so annoying. Hopefully this is not the way for future videos guys. Maximum respect to Stefano and others Climbers but stop please
I for one love the commenting. I think it is nice to have a bit more insight on the route and the approach to it. Please more of that! If you don't like it, you can always mute the sound :P
Me: Fuck thats a hard crux hold
Stefano: ISA GOOD REST, ME STAY 4 MINUTES
Sounds about right 😂😂
Me: oh look a jug
Stefano: yes, yes, isa a good camping place, i stay for 3 week there
@@emiliomunoz28 i lol´ed :D
@@emiliomunoz28 Very nice, I make family and get old here
My idea of rest is quite different. Now I close the laptop and I rest for a few hours, my fingers are pumped.
I like hearing Sarah's reaction when he hits that pocket for the first time. She knows it's going down.
"she's beginning to believe" Morpheus

Bruh made me think she was crying, I started becoming emotional
"resting here for 4 minutes", for sure i'm not able to stay 4 minutes in overhang like this that's crazy !
Grande Ste! 🎉🙌
Compared to other pros, Stefano has a mad ability to recover on the wall 💪
I mean Adam rested in the silence kneebar for like 7 minutes

Man, the emotions in your girlfriend's voice at the crux, beautiful :)
By far the smoothest ascent of 15c I've ever seen! This is legitimately a landmark video.
Rest of the world: 9b+
Americans: 7.37f degrees fahrenboulder
more like 15b?...

Amazing send, I love your uncut climbing videos with commentary; always a pleasure to watch!
Great video, hearing Sara excited during the first crux, makes it feel like I'm there too :)!

Incredible video! Love the voiceover. We need this type of send footage more!!
I`m chalking up behind my screen watching this impressive climb.
Well done!
Great to see the full ascent (and hear the scream!). We all envy your ability to depump on so-called rests!!!
🙂 A presto!!
You channeled the storm into the send!!! Absolutely amazing, I wish I was there to see it. Climbed it beautifully.
Incredible send. Amazing work Stefano! Well done and great to see.
Thank you for the release! Amazing send, my hands got sweaty even though I knew you would send. Congratulations, once again, what a feat!
Wow! Congratulations! What a fantastic achievement and a great video! Thank you for sharing!
Fantastico.
Truly an incredible ascent
love the feedback and analysis of your sends, awesome great line¡
Complimenti.
Incredible! I forgot Seb was your belayer :) Was he nervous about the 2 clip runout?
No, because he would hit ground for sure.
The 2 clip runout ? What is it ?
@@jeanbon6710 he skipped two clips, meaning 10m of rope 'runout' above the last clip, which means a 20m fall plus rope stretch.
I just came back from Ceuse and then I realized how steep this overhang actually is
Thank you for the release! I got so excited my roommates wondered what was going on haha. Can't wait to follow you through your next project! Grande Stefano 🙌
Huge congrats on the send. Such an insanely long route. Would love to see you try Silence next haha xD
He is currently training for it

Sarah sniffling behind the camera is so touching. I wish my belay partner would do that when I finally climbed that hard 10c in the gym.
Absolutely fantastic job!
Holy shit, do you catch that upper crux left hand undercling with back 2? That looks absolutely bonkers. So cool to see the uncut.
Well done, Stefano!

Skipping those two draws…I definitely need to work on not getting in my head. That was nuts.
