Alex, you are quickly becoming one of the best content creators in all of climbing youtube. None of the clickbait or fluff. Just crushing hard climbs. Please just keep your same style of videos, it will bring yourself and your channel so far.
Genuinely couldn’t agree more with your comment Ben. I’ve just unsubscribed from Magnus’s channel as it’s become just another channel of dumb videos which is really sad but Alex is doing great things which I’m really happy about 👏👏
The best climbing sound I have heard yet! The soft clunk of climbing shoes. The creak of carabiners. The almost not there whir of rope. No shouting. No distant voices. A truly special experience. Kudos to you and your crew.
Incredible climbing. Obviously insanely strong, amazingly flexible - but the awareness of the body, the positioning instinct, the efficiency of movement. Next-level.
Funny how not so long ago you had to pay to see half of this quality videos, awesome! As Alex said the videos from Sharma and others motivate him to try it Keep up this quality!
I'm taking a mental note of 4:48 - definitely a long term goal for me to be able to do that! Needed some inspo to keep on trusting the process, cheers!
What an incredibly humbling experience it must be to send a line bolted over 10 years ago by a then pioneer of and pusher of the limits and style we see today. Almost like picking up the map of a great explorer and finding that mythical island he spoke of and oh so wanted to see. Awesome, epic, inspiring.. infinite superlatives for this one Alex! Keep on pushing the limits of what a person can do and your impact will transcend time. ❤️❤️
Fantastic video! So much stuff is way overproduced these days and uses relentless, aggressive music, so this was a breath of fresh air; thank you! Also those stretches, unbelievable flexibility! 🤯 And of course the actual climbing, just an insane level of fitness and skill.
I love that he doesn't get mad, when he's in the right mindset or probably with less pressure to climb it. Feels chill and peaceful the way climbing is meant to be.
I like so much Alex Megos, no shouts, humility, sense of humour, hard climber, the perfect brother or son, as you like of "l'Ange Blond". Please keep going on this way 🙂
It was a pleasure to watch this video. Alex, you are becoming more calm and mature - no screaming, soft-eye-focus on the climb, long, slow and deep breathing (some call it LSD), completely flowing up the route in a dance-like style, a one-of-a-kind rock warrior and legend already. Anjd of course - stretching and laying Shavasana, just amazing Keep up the UA-cam content to make us happy Greetings from Vienna
There is a typo in the name of the route in the title, it should say "Ratstaman Vibrations" (weird, but it's a reference to the Ceuse sector Face de Rat).
Ok I love the direction this channel seems to be going. This video kind of reminded me to that bibliographie film, just smaller. I love the balance between hard outdoors sends and training vlogs. I hope there is more of this comimg!!
Keep on crushing Alex!
Unglaublich geniales Video! Glückwunsch zu der starken Leistung! Kompliment auch an die ganze Crew. Das Video ist echt super! Für den Fall das ich mal abgeschleppt werden muss, melde ich mich dann bei dir. ;)
I would have loved to see 9:28 without the music (and really the entire send) to hear that bird chirping next to them. It would have been such an immersive shot
man, you look definitly flowing! in earlier times, i felt like you had a lot of haste in your climbing style, but this time the whole route felt like one sequence… i love it! youre growing
Awesome vid as always and a sick send! 🔥🥕💪 Some sincere personal feedback (im saying these are facts just my opinion as a fellow climber and creative) for Jan Virt 😍✌ - I absolutely loved all the talking elements, the humanness bringing us Alex even closer and all the humor - If possible (lens and distance to Alex) I would prefer to have a wider framing of the closeup, also it s nice to have some extra rock shown above the climber so we can anticipate the next move without hands going out of the frame on quick moves. - When filming from the rope a bit more image stabilisation in post would be nice to have the framing be more stable - last but not least I found the music to be quite distracting, this is of course super personal but to mee it felt more like the standaard music for hipster commercial, sorry for saying it so blunt. Also for the send I don't thing we need any music, the sounds of the climbing itself are pure enough on their own. Again im not trying to be a hater here just giving my honest feedback to make the content in my opinion even more enjoyable 💚
Nice! Maybe the beste video on Alex's channel so far! Yes to quality footage, not those 'raw' (aka shitty) iphone shots. I like this style of story telling - and then the send.
I'll try to remember to chalk my mouth when trying something at my limit the next time. Seems like it helped... And if the pros are doing it it has to be right.

yeah Fr like if other people write smth like 9b+ ??? on their thumbnail it would be clickbait but he could just do it
If you’re wanting sport climbing content, Stefano is #1, Seb and Adam are 2a and 2b, and Alex is coming on strong with this one.
Magnus needs to go back to producing climbing content as well
I couldn't agree more. SO GOOD.
Genuinely couldn’t agree more with your comment Ben. I’ve just unsubscribed from Magnus’s channel as it’s become just another channel of dumb videos which is really sad but Alex is doing great things which I’m really happy about 👏👏
Most chilled reaction to sending a 9b to ever exist.
that was most definitely a reshoot not the actual send
@@arnebeeck1371 yeah
hes done thousands of them...
oh True true@@arnebeeck1371
Impressive.
Even more impressive when you know that you pulled your car by your own strength to the spot.
The best climbing sound I have heard yet! The soft clunk of climbing shoes. The creak of carabiners. The almost not there whir of rope. No shouting. No distant voices. A truly special experience. Kudos to you and your crew.
I agree, very asmr!
Man you did it so effortlessly. It's amazing. Big congrats. Hit La Dura Dura!!!
Might not be so simple, I'm so not sure how it has fared after the fire
i was expecting him to scream holding that dyno, but he seemed pretty effortless. i was a little bit disappointed^^
Is La Dura Dura still able to be climbed post fire? I haven't heard any updates about it
@@biltongandboba La Dura Dura has mostly survived the fire unharmed. see watch?v=_AAzzKfBPWU
Oh yeah! That would be incredible!!! After all this year's only Chris Sharma and Adam Ondra climbed this legendary Route.
Incredible climbing. Obviously insanely strong, amazingly flexible - but the awareness of the body, the positioning instinct, the efficiency of movement. Next-level.

Cool to see a 9b without knee pad!

We try to mix it up a little bit :) ...glad you like it !
Loving all this video content you've been pumping out lately. Fantastic short film, really cool and steep climb!
I love that he doesn't get mad, when he's in the right mindset or probably with less pressure to climb it. Feels chill and peaceful the way climbing is meant to be.
Honey wake up there is a new Alex Megos Video.
Pretty amazing to watch how smooth Alex is on that route. Congrats and what a great training method with the Golf R at the end!
I like so much Alex Megos, no shouts, humility, sense of humour, hard climber, the perfect brother or son, as you like of "l'Ange Blond". Please keep going on this way 🙂
Epic video!
No BS, good tunes and hardcore climbing.
Quel champion ! Quand tu vois Charles Albert et seb bouin prendre de sacrées roustes en essayant cette voie ..cela situe le niveau de la performance !
Loving the editing and what a spectacle of a climb. Honestly made a 9b look easier than most at that level. Congrats on the send!
Great video! You are really getting into this youtube game. Awesome! 😃

" calm and mature - no screaming " ! What are you suggesting .......?
There is a typo in the name of the route in the title, it should say "Ratstaman Vibrations" (weird, but it's a reference to the Ceuse sector Face de Rat).
My man going all in with this license free UA-cam stock music
Nice one mate! Looks so so good! Always impressed with the Megos execution mode 💪🥕🥕
Beautiful. Thanks for this video.

That route was way longer than I thought, my man was on the wall for ages.
vids just keep getting better and better
Love the quiet climbing videos and the perfect climbing. 🔥 send it!
Loving finally being able to see you climb more bro. Your an absolute beast.
haha ich liebe die Szene mit dem VW am Schluss, einfach noch kurz angeben😄
Glückwunsch! So ein Beast...💪
Ooh man, u give such a good vibe. Congratulations for the route and thanks a lot for the video!

Congratulations! And thanks for the awesome video 😎
Very pure and funny. Thanks Alex. Also nice stories....
Just so beautiful of a crag!!! A dream location I want to get to someday.
Nice to see some people still have a "normal" reaction to completing a hard route instead of flipping out 🙂
Adam Ondra reference for sure
Ganz ganz große Inspiration fürs klettern ! Top produziertes Video ! Probs aus NRW !
Fantastic ascent and quality content as usual. Bravo! Really enjoyed this :)
Megos is such a chad. Love it
Really nice and motovatimg video Alex. Thanks for that and congratulations for the send!!
Nice video.. I’m enjoying your content down here in Australia Alex
sos un Titan! gigante como persona y climber!! gracias!!
Bist eine Inspiration Bruder, ich bin zwar in einem anderen Sport aktiv. Schaue aber total gerne deine Videos
Gets my so stoked! Amazing stuff! Keep it coming
> Recently some other strong climbers tried it, but nobody actually pieced the puzzle together yet
Stefano Ghisolfi 👀
So nice of Jacob Schubert to film that outro with you.
Amazing video! And even better climbing and personality!
Total legend 💪
Top notch content! Alex's sun kissed body sheeesh
I think a video about what shoes you use, and pros and cons of each pair would be really interesting!
Dein bestes Video bisher, weiter so Alex!
You climb 9b so essy.....Amazing
I love it, this was a wonderful video
amazing climb, great video, and funny content. keep it up!!!

Was he just pulling a car with a pinch block? I had to look at it again, and it's like a hangboard and not a pinch. Epic.
Great VW ad by the way - pulling it😁
This was amazing to watch .
What a great video! 👍
Hey Alex,
Would be great if you could post a video about your stretching routine!
Awesome quality!!!! greeeeeaaaat video
These videos are awesome
Absolute Legende, schönes Video
yep great edit loved it
loved the ending pulling the car
Nice Video and Project!
Great vid man keep them coming.
Thanks Megos!
Alex climbs 9b: *smile* that was sketchy
At 8:11 why does he clip the lower bolt when in one full swoop he clips the next one as well? Wouldn't that waste energy?
In case you slip when clipping.
complimenti,Alex!!!!
Super impressive! What's your next project, DNA?
So good content
Hey Alex can you show more on how you stretch or warm up before a climb or your workout (thanks)
Song Min 07:02 please? Thank you!
Awesome short film 🎉

Amazing is not a good enough comment its fucking amazing. Thanks so much for this.

Immer noch der geilste body in der Kletterwelt
Cool video!
Excellent climbing! Thank you for the content!
Amazing! 💪🏻✨
congrats!
Was it the last hard open project in Ceuse?
can you please explain how and why you use a razor blade on your hands.
What a nice chap :) not bad at climbing either ;)
how were the quickdraws placed there? did some rapel down from the top?
Stark Alex!
I want that shirt at 00:30!
