This route is something like Action Directe of our days. Short but extremely intense. Every movement is on the verge of human possibilities. Maybe it will be a benchmark of 9b+.
this route incentivizes fast climbing. the holds are so small that there’s basically nowhere to rest until you’re already near the top. and while it’s pretty tall, as far as hard routes go it actually isnt that long
I think this is the best one camera uncut video that I have ever seen.... Perfect point of view and the sound of breathing increasing with the send it is just perfect...
That’s one hell of a beautiful route! Power endurance on hard crimps and nice movements. I so love it! And the name is so spot on the hart of the sport… open to everybody… pick the sword and try to pull it!
What do you think, man? If I get myself a powerbox do you think I could manage to send this one and become the next King Arthur? Well done, and amazing effort!
Now I finally have the beta to flash it myself
Do not forget an orange t-shirt, it's part of the beta.
Perhaps you need someone to 3D scan it and build a replica. Just to be sure of the flash
Yeah, flash it in your underwear while eating Twinkies. Your mom said no.
No more chance for on sight 😓
And my on sight chance is ruined, damn😂
That “rest” is harder than my max hang protocol
Same....
Stefano not only pulling but resting on atoms like it's a jug is ridiculous
Stefano posts, I hide at work and watch.
That first rest position 😭 what in the world
Silence goes this year, I believe

Stefano resting on two crimps at 40° overhang 😎.
Me getting pumped on a jug 😵💫.
Congrats for the 100K subscribers!! Amazing work🤘🏼
Was thinking that yeah, the idea of resting on an overhang like that blows my mind lol
Less than 5 minutes on a 9b+ really just shows how hard the moves themselves are. GG Stefano, tremendous work.
Very stark contrast to when he climbed Change in over an hour (!!!)
@@krakenattackin7617 absolutely. Shows his versatility as a climber

@@austinwanner449 yeah, its really just one giant execution instead of parts with rests on between. Super interesting
Respect to the camera man for climbing up there first😂❤
Bro just campused it
Same joke on every climbing video!
He is resting on what would be the crux holds of my long term boulder project lol
It’s so pleasant to have all the uncut send, from the beginning to the end :) I would like this for also Silence and other routes
You can only imagine thy beginning is if he choosing to rest after like 3 moves... crazy
I think this is the best one camera uncut video that I have ever seen.... Perfect point of view and the sound of breathing increasing with the send it is just perfect...
Awesome. Hatching it uncut is even better than the original one. Thanks for uploading
this video is so much better than the full production. wish more pros would just drop the uncut footage
Fantastic achievement by such a likeable person. Congratulations.
incredibile! and so cool that Jane Svecova trys it!
My fingers started to hurt while I was watching Stefanos resting positions.
Nothing is better than uncut climbing videos in order to appreciate the subtleties of climbing... Congrats Stephano!
there's a few moves on this that I just can't believe he does. I loved seeing this uncut video! thanks for sharing @stefano!
Stefano resting on my strength training exercise
How hard the crux was for him to rest before the last two/three "easy" moves! Grande Stefano!
That’s one hell of a beautiful route! Power endurance on hard crimps and nice movements. I so love it! And the name is so spot on the hart of the sport… open to everybody… pick the sword and try to pull it!
This is f**g awesome. These holds are a nightmare...
Congratulations on this legendary send!
Nice one! Looking forward to seeing Will on it again too!
The strength of this guy is inhuman. Amazing !
mostruosamente mostruoso! e 20 anni fa si arrampicava al Palavela... grande! Torino nel
Beast mode! That was awesome to watch. Thanks for sharing and congrats on 100k subscribers, Stefano!
I can also do 9b+ if you tilt that wall by 90 degrees
and that might be to hard still 🤣
Wow, well done Stefano! That looked effortless.
Wild, who saw this route and was like, "yeah, it goes"
Insanely impressive. I believe in silence soon
holy crap, it looked like there were several near dabs on the camera guy!!! AMAZING TENACITY! So PRECISE! Good on ya'!!!
Congrats mate! I enjoeyd seeing the belayer as well!
Thanks for the uncut! I like it even better than edited videos. Keep going Stefano!
congratulations on 100k subs. well done. i love your work man thanks for entertaining us with your boulders7leads
Well earned my friend, I have a feeling you’ll be enjoying a similar feeling at a cave in Norway soon enough🤞
It's Nice to see your efort. Trying to not fall at the end, in a 6b Boulder problem☺️💗
This finger + forearm strength is ridiculous
È bellissimo sentire la Sara quanto è emozionata 🥹
bravissimo Stefano molto contento per te! 👍
Bravo Stefano!
How can Excalibur be uncut? Maybe consider sharpening that blade next time...
Congratulations!
Holy Fk...that looks like a 12m 8c Boulder :D Insane
Seems like it could be, with enough crashpads :)
Amazed that it's only 100K, but congrats on the way to 1mil.
Pfff. Stefano clips from positions most of us probably couldn't even hold 😂
so insane, good job
Impresionante!! 9b+ en cuanto?? 6?? 7 cintas?? realmente increíble
Congratz on a 100k subs as well
Awesome!
Congrats to 100k subs! 🎉
Awesome! Congrats!
Insane, you are a legend
Goodbye to excalibur earring.. :-(
Primo 9b+ al Moonboard 🤯🤣😎
Fortissimo!! 🙌
Congrats 100k 🎉
What a beast!
Ale’ Stefano! 💪🏻 Saluti da Vicenza 💪🏻
wondering when youd drop this very nice brah
I just knew you wouldn't fall 👓
Epic as always!
Is Excalibur not on 27crags? I wanted to check other routes on the rock, but couldn't even find this route.
27crags.com/crags/drena-boulder/routes/excalibur-476026
That's fucking awesome
What a place to rest !! 🤯
strong work!
How does a short sub 5minute route like this feel compared to a monster route like Change?
Amazing!
When is this going on Mellow? They have sport climbs occasionally.
Wooo!
Why are you using carabiners instead of quick draws on the first two bolts?
1:27 How is it even possible to rest on these holds ??! 😅
What do you think, man? If I get myself a powerbox do you think I could manage to send this one and become the next King Arthur? Well done, and amazing effort!
Why does it not start from the ground? Is the terrain too dangerous to risk a fall?
Watch out for boulderers coming in and defining a sit start traverse into the bottom to try and push the grade to 9C
I broke several finger pulleys just watching this video
Te lo potevi prendere questo 9c
and now: excalibur sitstart 6c+ ;)
serious question:
why are there two single carabiners at the beginning?
only ideas:
- to get the rope closer to the wall --> does not tangle his legs
- to shorten the fall (grounder)
I wonder if I could make any move at all if the wall were vertical.
Do you even know what jugs are?
Just wow…
That rest 😅
no way very strong
Grande👊
100000 iscritti grandeeee
Damn!!!! 🔥
Insane. Next time post the video while the hype is fresh!
FINALLY
The rests are ridiculous!
Oh no my onsight attempt is gone :)
I'd flash this if it was not so far. That's why i'll just stick to my v4 boulders.
I did this my first time..
I mean watched the video ofc.
Hardcore💪😟
Oh no ! my dream for an onsight is gone…
💎
so.. 100k subs eh? time for burden of dreams :D
It's hard to imagine resting for minutes on such microscopic nothingness as if it were jugs…
There is what happen when you stole the Sara's shoes.
Ho le mani zuppe di sudore!
