Ahhh Dire Maul book farming once again. Takes me back to farming the Compendium of Dragonslaying for the Quel'Serrar back in the day!! Thanks for this!
If you can get your hands of the AV book, that one is worth 30k+ on my server. The Dire Maul Book sells for about 10-15k. Kept 1 copy of each book for my Paladin, and sold the rest. Made almost 200k gold in a day. :)
There's a nice shortcut for demon hunters to get faster to the boss you have to kill to talk to the tree guy. On the side with the exit to the large garden area there are 2 large vines/roots. You just have to jump on the broken pillar in the water, do a double jump + glide to the lower root, climb to the top of it and glide to the other root. From there you can just jump to the platform with the boss. That way you save a little time and the runs become a little more fun because you have some more platforming. Also, I can confirm all 4 spawn points. Thank you for this guide Mmrrggll, I already made 20k thanks to you.

love your videos. quick tip. eat the new legion cooking food Bear Tartare. killing any mob from 1-110, even rats, bugs etc. you get about a 70% speed buff. farming is so easy. I am playing DH tank on Emerald Dream, Fazcap. Wondering if you can do secret skin video on them.

It worked for me while having a friend in party and joining PG. On two chars I cannot get it to work while being solo, because after joining PG and teleporting out, I always get "You aren't in a party" while trying to reset instances...

I found my shaman can actually do it faster than my DH with far sight. Takes about 1 min to look around to see them can even far sight under the door to the last boss
I couldnt use the proving grounds so I disrobed at the final boss and jumped down to his area to die (after checking for the book). I ended up right at the entrance.
Sold a few the day Ashbringer skin was released for 30k each, now saturated and price plummeted to 5k each, not worth the farm now. AV book on the other hand is around 90k. So farm AV
I think I figured it out. Talk to the mission specialist who's sitting in your garrison hall, behind your mission table. Click "enter proving grounds." Once in there, right click on the dungeon eye by your map and click "teleport out of dungeon." Then get your butt to Dire Maul. The eye should stay there so, at the end, you can right click and "teleport to dungeon," etc.
I found an awesome way to farm this faster. Just enter the dungeon and check if the book is at the first location, if not go out and reset. It takes like 20 seconds to check and reset. Repeat x999 and gg easy.
Ok you cant do infinite times cause it's restringed but anyway its kinda good you may get about 3 books in 2 minutes and then log off the farming character

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Did you not see what the title of this video was at all, or did you even pay in the slightest attention what it was about?
It's not criticism in the slightest if it has no point, or is not helpful. If I cut this video people would get lost through the dungeon. Thus it doesn't make any sense to cut it. That'd be like me just saying "look here" and then skipping right to the next part and say "and then here" With dungeons that's not exactly straightforward.

The first book spawns right on the edge of the plant guys, not under the tree. Its easy to miss.

I doubt it, this method has been around since the beginning of WoD so I can't foresee them fixing it.

Yes, but the book can be up at any of the 4 locations. If you do that you'll hit your instance cap in about 3minutes.
