Thanks for the video, I'm working on my 8940 and was not figuring out the disassembly thanks to the hidden spring. You saved me a lot of broken parts from forcing it apart lol

I ought to drop the 806 off and let you rebuild the spools on that. I have a lot trouble keeping them from leaking.

Thanks. Working on my 8930. I’m replacing the the cartridge because I’ve replaced the seals a couple of times. But do you think I could remember how to get the damn thing apart? No. To damn old

Probably 30mm. You really don't need both metric and inch tools over 18mm, but 30mm is 1-3/16 and not many tool sets have that size anymore. I have a 1-3/16 Proto socket, but no wrench, so I had to buy a 30mm.

Knowing myself I would forget that I shaved off part of that 1-1/8" wrench and then cuss it when I need it for a 1-1/8" head the next time I use it.

Rich, good deal on a 96 12v, BUT the guy says it wont start b/c lift pump is shot and needs batteries, low km and good deal what would yo do?

Buy a lift pump and throw it on, bring your own batteries. Lift pump is about $70 and takes about 20 minutes to put on with a couple line wrenches and a 10mm socket. I would want to hear it run

Only return 30% of the parts that are wrong? Wouldn’t you want to return 100% of the wrong parts? Haha. Youuu must’ve meant, life of a mechanic, out of all the parts you get you have to return 30% because they are wrong I understand your point. Been there done that.
