    A 100 inch screen looks like a good size. Not too small and not too large. That's probably what I'll end up getting. Though I won't be using mine with a modern projector. I'll be using it in conjunction with something very retro - a 16mm movie projector. Screening documentaries, short films, cartoons etc from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

    You pretty much described my initial reaction and experience when looking for a screen + projector. Good video~

    Hi mate, quick question: do you screw the hanging wood screws flushed all the way into the wall to keep the casing flushed against the wall OR do you leave a bit of the screws sticking out the wall and let the screen casing hang without being flushed to the wall?

    I have two questions to ask you. I just bought this screen from amazon and the reviews say it smells when you first pull the screen out of the box and two the screen apparently wrinkles over time with pulling it up and down. is any of that true when you purchased your at all. Is your screen doing good today.

    Can you give me the length and width of the wall to fit this screen? And how far is your projector placed? Thank you very much.

    Just got the lg pf1000, first projector and looking for a screen, was looking at motorised screen ones, but might go for a pull down now, just need to decide on screen size, was going to get 100 inch but after seeing the size in your video I might go a little bigger, good video

    I just ordered one on Amazon that's "like new" condition for a much discounted price. Then went on UA-cam for reviews and saw this - Thanks!!! I hope mine is not a return due to too much wave on the screen which is most of the negative reviews i read.

      Hi I installed it about 3 weeks ago(outdoor) and it's been great so far. No wave on the screen and i really like when it pulls up automatically like it's motorized. Been watching pixar movies at night and even with a cheap projector(Abdtech 130" Mini LED Projector), it looks amazing!

    what is 24 "drop ?

    • @criticalthinker494
      @criticalthinker494 7 років тому

      The drop on a screen refers to the amount of extra screen material above the viewing area on the screen. So a 24" drop means that there is two feet of unused screen material above the viewing area. For the most part, drop is a more important consideration in electric screens, recessed in ceiling than in manual versions though
