Guarding with a sword tanks a 4x Honed Edge Izanagi's shot. (Easier to test using The Lament or Eternity's Edge)
Killing yourself by shooting your feet while standing in water used to actually be a thing in Destiny 1. I remember doing it frequently in The Dark Below in one of the rooms before the final area. I definitely remember doing it because it was hilarious how your Gaurdian would throw themselves forward in a very dramatic way. I was sad when they fixed it.
it depends on the water, and you can still do it. and you need to have a specific angle for it.
facts. raid team would banner wipe this way.
It was in vanilla D2 as well up to Forsaken

Yet I frequently get one shot killed in gambit by peeps using pos hand cannons while I have 100 res and the shield is fully generated.
For those who don't know, you don't have to be in Korea to see Yuna's gear. As long as you have a Korean player in your team you can visit her and see her inventory. Now as for buying her gear there is spots in Korea we can go to that give us the IGR Benefactor title. You have to pay to use wifi in those locations but they give you access to her shop. Her shop also doesn't count towards collections too

10:25, yeah, I remember that before they added this ramp I saw a lot of new Warlocks who didn't figure out how to jump yet so they couldn't get to the Lost Sectors.

The "being able to shoot yourself in the foot" part actually worked in D1. You just had to crouch, while standing in a puddle, like the pools in the crotas end boss room or during the maze in VoG. It's a myth in D2, but in d1 it's true 👍
You can still shoot yourself in the foot in d2. I do it regularly when waiting for people to be ready in raids.
I thought you were able to (or used to be able to) in D2 as long as you had ricochet rounds, unless in thinking of shooting the debuff off of yourself against 8-tracks
@@martinprovo2389 Yeah, you can Do that in D2 with ricochet rounds, but that's just hitting your entire body so to say. In D1 it was very specific that you can only shoot yourself in the foot with any gun whatsoever.

Yup, but was patched in Rise of Iron, so I'm surprised people still thought it existed.
6:20 in all of the sever missions, there is always a glowing enemy that you can kill to get loot. ( you can only get it once a week. Everything after that will just drop 1 piece of blue gear)

Just an FYI, the OoB on Disjunction (Throne World Map) was recently fixed because people were using it to cheat the Iron Lord seal (3:22)

I actually love watching these videos of yours, it's a breath of fresh air compared to the other Destiny 2 videos that go around and as a player who hasn't been around long gives some insight to the wacky part of Destiny lol

2:22 so I discovered this in a pvp match and reviewed the clip. The ranged warlock melee attack will destroy the rocket.
I was the one who shot the rocket.
Bullets are hitscan, the ranged melee is a projectile
Thank you for testing out mechanics that normally goes unnoticed. Even a veteran player can learn atleast a few things.

1:31 IGR benefactor is something with the gaming cafe things in korea. i think youll basically be able to rent the exotics for a bit
Warlocks can sometimes die when being revived within their own solar grenades with the fragment that improves them. Normally done during a grenade damage increase and solar singe modifier
It happens with void grenade too, at least it did in Beyond Light. We re-killed a friend a few times with that accidentally.
6:20 There's one in every sever mission, but to get good loot from it, you have to have the second perk in the crown of sorrows, and it has to be the first one you've killed that week
In addition to nighthawk glowing with full super, Promethium spur will also flame up with full super

10:20 I always used to miss the jumps to get to that cosmodrome lost sector. When the ramps were added it was so nice.
What's funny is as a hunter main for all this time. I have been surviving sticky grenades for a while. I never knew it was because I was next to a wall. I just thought it was an inherent God ability for being able to do a tumble mid PVP gun fight!

The golden gun seems like combustion chaining rather than a collat?
That's what I was gonna say. They should have been more spaced out to prove it. It only penetrated one guardian into the next and the rest just blew up, why the kill feed didn't show them all dying to the golden gun
Really fun vid! On a side note, switched PoV to 95 and found an instant benefit to aim, this and the 40/60 rule are the first things I direct lapsed PvP clan members to. Simple adjustments and concepts that can have great effects on their crucible experience.

The hammer trick for infinite hammers we use during raids for if we run out of ammo for caretaker or stuff. I just look at the floor as hammer B!tch, and, SALVO FORWARD
The weighted throwing knife giving more super energy used to be true, but they removed that with solar 3.0

It wasn't a stealth nerf, that gunslinger tree just had a perk that gave you extra super energy for headshot kills. I don't think it was specific to the knife, the knife just happened to be on that tree.
@@Criiies You're thinking of Practise Makes Perfect, which gave you increased super regen from precision hits (it had a timer that went on screen). I'm talking about the actual amount of super energy it gave you from a throwing knife headshot kill. With double hands on, you could get your super in like 6 throwing knife kills

10:20 I recall many a patrol in this area and watching new players either struggle to make the jump or completely failing to realize they are even supposed to jump. That ramp is my new favorite part of the area.

2:15 you can infact shoot a rocket... with another rocket. It doesn't destroy it but if you have lasting impression it just knocks it completely off its trajectory.

Additional note on the overload round removing restoration thing: it only removes restoration x2, not x1. So it only works against Lorelei Titans, but not classy restoration
For the nova warp blink thing. A while ago I survived a blade barrage by blinking, while not even in my super. I recorded a clip of it I think.

The grenade trick (teammate catching them) also works with the Voidwall grenades and the smoke grenades. The physics resembles the ones from the Halo engine's plasma grenades, so anything with physics to bounce should also spin. I like throwing it on teammates' collars or faces and watching it spin

At 5:17, it's not just the Throwing Hammers if you're running Consecration you can spam the slam attack if you stand on a boss while your teammate is chucking hammers at them.
The ramp added on the lost sector is nice, some new light Idk why were sometimes struggling getting to the top
That ramp on the lost sector is definitely new. I struggled so much getting in there when I just startedplaying
I've been doing this since D1: If you swing your sword right before hitting the ground from a tall height, it will completely negate any fall damage. At the cost of one ammo.
You can guard instead, but you still get damaged, especially if the ground is uneven.
there's tons of exotic armors that glow when they are ready to be used. peregrine greaves glow with blades of light when in midair sprinting with shoulder charge ready, geomags used to glow when you top off chaos reach energy by sprinting, oathkeepers glow when fully charging a bow etc

Theres some additional forbidden knowledge going alongside that “throwing a hammer at a friendly back” holds.
that golden gun didnt collateral the enemies, its just ignited the first few and the explosion killed them. Space them out in the future.
For real it was so obvious, like how do you not see that in editing and go “yeah that’s not an explosion” 🤔
The zone cap rate was in D1 as well.
And when the Felwinter's Lie quest was available, you *COULD REACH THE TOP* of the Mountain.
6:27 Back In D1 I believe it was actually listed as part of the exotic perk! I remember using them in Wrath of the Machine in the death Zamboni encounter and crouching through all the slow fields, because it's faster than normal walking speed while slowed. It probably works like that in D2 as well though I can't remember off the top of my head
Yeah I was actually initially confused at this point in the video because you're right, that was its listed D1 perk. I hadn't even realised that the D2 variant doesn't state it until now.

The Gallu sniper pissed me right off. I got SUPER excited when I got a "primary" sniper early in the season, only to take it into a match and run out of ammo.
2:20 You CAN do this with Colossus rockets (and Fallen grenades) but it’s hard to get them all before they hit you

9:04 the moon has been home for extremely violent glitches since d1
I remember messing around with some friends on patrol and one of the ramed me with his sparrow on a specific spot whilst I used the special attack of my exotic sword, it literally sent me flying to the height limit
Love these, should note that if you use a rapid fire sniper it will def miss long range shots. Also peregrine greaves need to be in the air to kill supers
hammer strike does less damage than the other two shoulder charges

fun fact that in Destiny 1 there was a strat for the Wrath of the Machine raid where warlocks would use T Steps to crouch walk carrying a payload. The crouch walk was actually faster than normal walking speed while carrying it so it made the mechanic far easier.
4:57 I was once killed by a warlock that had the same invisibility.
The "Melee hits reload your stowed weapons" Aespect on Stasis Will actually reload your equipped weapon too. You can throw out all of Gally's Ammo Reserves within seconds using this & marksman dodge

the hidden vendor Yuna, that sells exotics is for pc cafe's in places like korea. Because you're not on your own destiny account, or it's a rental thing or whatever the system is, the point of it is to give those players a chance to rent the exotics for free to try them out.

The shooting your foot in water *used* to be the case. I did it back in D1 and early D2 if I recall correctly. Good to see they fixed it.
the eye glow on celest was in d1 too!! its super rad
For those wondering about nova warp it used to have a invincibility frame anytime you blinked but they got rid of it since people complained about it being too op so they got rid of it when they changed the teleport but it was a effect due to teleport range
Props to this guy for not telling everyone how to turn invincible, but for how long will this disaster be avoided?
I have almost 6,000 D2 hours on Steam and I still didn't know a bunch of these. Good stuff Shadow (:

The celestial nighthawk one also works with the ornaments. The screamy bird one's eyes also glow, and the long beaked one the third eye in the middle of the forehead glows. Dunno for sure about the new one but I would assume just the eyes on that one.
