Beam and slab shuttering

The shuttering process involves:
1. marking the water level
2. preparing the beam bottom
3. setting out the beam bottom
4. fixing the side boards
5. elevating the span supports
6. laying the sheets
7. providing the Jack supports.

What is water lever for?

It is to maintain the level of the slab. ( to have zero slope). Shuttering will be set with respect to the water level. So that the slab level will be uniform during concreting
Else it will take huge quantity of cement mortar while flooring.
