Simple fix, don’t buy a GM product again. They are still making same faulty part even in 2022 models of Traverse
Do you know if the entire shift assembly #13545093 include the most recent parts to eliminate this concern with the shift to park? The TSB notes that even after the jumper is installed if you still get shift to park you are to replace the entire shift assembly.
No,it won't fix it, just replace the switch harness and add the jumper that's a confirm fix, where as if you replace the shifter it will come back because it doesn't have the updated version

Thank you for the helpful video. Question though, do I have to take it to thw dealership or can I take it like a pepboys or small car shop? I'm asking cause thw last time I went the dealership. It was $200 an hour to work on my 2019 traverse. Because it's an autostop.
It's pretty easy to do man, it might look intimidating at first but if you don't want to do it, take it to the dealer that's your best bet

So i replaced the complete harness and the jumper harness and my malibu still wont start and shows shift to park . Any suggestions?
Take it out make sure there is a tight connection ,or the check the shifter cable
Came here to see how you separated the base from the shifter and you literally skipped right over it 🤦
Take out that 10mm nut that hold it then slide it out

Tell me please. I found a burnt-out fuse f9. There are no mistakes. What he is responsible for, he is marked on the diagram as a vacuum pump.
That's for your brake vaccum pump, it is probably internally shorted how does your brake pedal feel?
The fact of the matter is that the brake pedal works perfectly. If you turn it off after a few taps, it becomes tight. As soon as you start the car, it is pressed as it should be. It works smoothly when the car is running. But the fuse is blown.
It does not show errors with dealer equipment.
That's a safety issue i would get it check immediately at the dealer
GM never fixed this problem because my 2022 Chevy Trailblazer has the same issue.
That's new,I haven't seen that one yet, never seen a traverse or blazer come back for that concern after completing that bulletin
My 2022 traverse is doing it now. So annoying

Replaced the harness and still not working!!! Bought new battery as well…
Did you miss something? Did you get the jumper? I've never seen that problem come back after replacing the harness and jumper

@@steevegmtech7326 yeah I took all the top plugs off when disassemble of the console. It’s not showing it’s in any gear on the shifter… where it should be red
