Iam from Ladakh and I forgot the winter of my Ladakh coz I left Ladakh for higher studies and now a days I visit my home once in a year during summer ,it's been a 9 years ..iam missing the winter of Ladakh..
Thanks for having me over in the extreme weather! Loved every bit of it! Very inspirational and admirable! Your cause and dedication to the children of Ladakh is commendable!
Omg, you guys live your life fullest, it's very easy to think life like this but very hard in reality, I am amazed with your passion, you guys really rock, be happy healthy always 😊
Its not easy to adapt to the lifestyle you are living once you have tasted lavish or even a comfortable life before. Hats off to your determination. We had been to Leh in April this year. Being Bangaloreans we struggled a lot with harsh weather for 6 days. Even though we enjoyed the breath takingly beautiful landscape, I came to the conclusion that this is not the place to live forever.
I have a lot of respect for your lifestyle. I lived in Mongolia. And travelled extensively so have a fair idea of this rustic life. Mongolian outdoors was one of the most spectacular and life is very hard in the countryside. But people are so nice
We visited Ladakh for a few days, ur videos helped us , shopping in leh's nav shera market. Can't imagine living in winter without proper water 💦. Seems like dream life from the outside.. but hats off to you. Living with bare minimum necessities..!
Amazing. Thanks for getting back to the longer videos :-) Please do consider long format videos of 12-15 minutes as well. Surely there is so much to share and we would love to soak it all in.
really amazing video sir/mam i am your new customer i am also from ladakh so i know what to do in winter season and i love watching your video may allah keep you both safe and shine always…GBUA……
Hii guys Maine exploring kari hai Ladakh ki life it's very tough but experience is very good very unbelievable experience that's my favourite place Ladakh
Please tell us what is that you would like to know about Ladakh.. we’ll try to answer your queries to the best of our knowledge.. you can ping us on Instagram @the.seekingsoul
Star will turn 5 soon and he adapted to the weather pretty quickly and easily despite being a Bangalore dog. We do take extra care through jackets (double at times) and blankets for him. At the same time what works in our favour is that he is a cross between a street dog and a Spitz making him extra furry and more resilient.
We have fallen in love with your style of creating videos including volunteering in schools. How about meeting as we are destined to Leh Ladakh in July. Please let us know if this is of interest to both of you? Keep up the good work. Cheers
Surely ! We’ll try working on that ! Until then if you have any specific questions.. plz ask here. Will try to answer your queries to the best of our knowledge
Watching your video very first time. You guys doing really great job. We are planning for ladakh in September. After Watching your videos I feel like kash aplogoke sath Ladakh explore karpati 😊😊. Your pet is so cute. I also have a dog namely Scooby.
I am amazed with you 2guys. Hats off....good that you both support each other. But just curious how do you manage expenses??? If I think of doing this how do we manage day to day expenses? Please guide thanx in advance
We have set aside some funds from our savings to cover our expenses. We will cover this aspect in detail along with cost of living in mountains in some video soon.
Amazing vlog. Hi Ankita, me and my family are planning a Leh trip in the month of May 2022. I see everyone says low oxygen in khardungla pass. Can you please share your insights in a small video. I get scared as I am bringing my parents too.
Hey Pallawi, we will definitely plan a video on that. However, for now I m going to give you a few pointers on coming to Ladakh with your parents. So, yes some people find it difficult to breathe at the Khardung La but you don’t have to stay on the pass for a long time. Cross it quickly even if you wish to take pictures, do that and descend quickly. You can also take your parents for a check up and do inform the doc about your high altitude trip.. the doc will guide you about the medications that will ease your trip. Since you still have a few months.. make sure to do some breathing exercises/prayanam along with your parents. Also, would like to assure you that there are hospitals even in villages here that are equipped with O2 cylinders and primary care. So, don’t worry and all the best for your trip.. 😊
Veggies come from either neighbouring village that have recently started greenhouse way of farming so that they can farm in winters too. And from Kashmir via road and from Delhi via flight.
I am going to join Ladakh University as an Assistant professor soon. i am from West Bengal, spent 5years in Texas US , but really don't know if I can survive in Ladakh.... feeling tensed please suggest/guide
Most welcome to ladakh sir. Being a local ladakhi i can assure you life is pretty easy here in summer , not too cold and hot.During winter it is a bit cold here in leh you just need to buy some extra blankets and heaters.
@@Cinephilecentral Thanks a lot Dear ....are all the amenities available there? I mean food, ration, medicines etc? how about the electricity ? costly? well running?
@@BiswajitSaha-d2q yes you gonna get everything. It is a big town like manali everything is available there from a small store to a 5 star hotel. Electricity is cheap (our mobthly bill never exceed 500)and is 24 × 7 mostly. As we have many hydro projects unlike the coal one.
Thanks.Aap ka vdo bahut usefull hy.We will come Leh in July'23.
