I like to imagine that Pac-Man was waiting in that chest for weeks and possibly even months just to pop out at someone and ride is skateboard off the tower.
The nostalgia is real X_X But I must say, now that I'm watching this at a later age, why the hell was Pac-Man in that chest and why does he have a skateboard and why would he jump out of a building and... Never mind.
Pac-Man is more radical than Sonic confirmed, plus he skated down Blade Mountain and Haunted Boardwalk in World 2 so he’s a badass in the main canon too!

This game is my childhood.
Yeah, mine too
Total ... Complete ... Nostalgia...
This was the first game I ever played! The last time I played it was when I was five
What's funny is that I always played Tower of Druaga from the menu and not the room because Druaga used to scare the living daylights out of me
That background music though
I know right
Sweet sweet sweet memories qwq god i love all those games and this was the only namco vol i had since i was young lol
THIS IS MY NOSYALGIA HERE!! STILL HVE IT!!! GOOD TO HAVE IT!!!! :D
1:29 those characters in the background are from old commercials for Namco games on Famicom
That's some attention to detail

He was trying to scare, and confuse the heck out of Gil?
It’s games, don’t question the Pac-Man
He’s a cartoon and he can live from buildings

This animation was phenomenal when I was a kid. I see now, that it is not.
It was for its time. Never forget that.

I love how popular Galaxian was that it had it's own moment and it's theme wasn't a variation but it's original
Dang, they put so much effort in this intro
Every time I watched this intro as a kid, there was only one question on my mind
The fuck was PAC-MAN doing in that chest?
my son miss his games
Goated
shitty ps1 polygon graphics can't be replicated properly, gives me a feeling that nothing else can
