I have no idea if you’ll see this, but I absolutely adored this game. From the rooms, the music, everything. I actually found a 1 to 1 recreation of the entire museum in vrchat, and seeing this is just making me feel like an 8 year old again. Thank you
I wish more video game collections did stuff like this. I have yet to see something akin to Namco Museum on PS1. The idea of having a virtual museum and being able to know the behind the scenes of each game complete with playing them. That to me is something we need more of...
I remember playing this back in the day. This video is bringing back some memories. I could also totally see it being brought back with updated graphics and in VR, maybe combining all the volumes into one? Something like this has probably been done already though tbh; a VR museum I mean.
@@selfishbeats You've never played VR then, lol. This museum would actually be absolutely amazing in VR. Learning Unity right now to port this museum over to VR Chat.
I actually just went to a Namco Museum world on VRChat. I went to this one (Vol.3), as well as Vol. 2 and Vol. 1. I got it on my most recent VRChat stream (Casual VRChat Stream Ep.14), if you want to check it out.l
@@alexplaysgames279yt Problem with people making games now is they don't understand value. We want games, exhibits where we can learn about the games and namco as a whole. they could maybe even drop the first Bandai Namco Museum with history from both. Tired of lazy and unpassionate products.
I finally found it and the music is so nostalgic and just relaxing man I remember I was like 5 years old and my uncle had the ps1 and then when he would go to school I would hangout in the lobby or in this cool town haha I miss the good old day’s
I remember uncontrollably wheezing that you could find pac jr on the toilet when i was a kid. Idk why but that was the funniest thing ever to me as a child
Thank you for posting this. I distinctly remember never putting this game back in the jewel case and scratching the shit out of it, and now that blue guy in the library is haunting me.
My grandma & aunt had it. Me and my cousins played it. We laughed hard when we we're in the Ms. Pac-Man room & we kept opening the bathroom door. Ahh memories.
Thanks for uploading. My mom bought this for the Pacman game but end up not liking the version in the game (too slow moving compared to arcade versions) and stopped playing it pretty quickly. I loved the museum aspect and looking at the concept art in the library, but I remember the games being too hard for me, especially Druaga and Digdug. Those older games were hard. Kinda amazing to see how blocky eveything was. Still charming, though. The music in the digdug museum was my favorite! The museum music was great, too. Kind of interesting that all of the museum workers are these strange creatures/robots.
I really appreciate them adding in a library and a theater room in this installment of Namco Museum also the song that plays when you enter the museum and are looking at all of the exhibits is very comforting to listen to its honestly also very relaxing While my childhood mostly consists of volume 1 witch even to this day is just as nostalgic as I remember it being when I played it during my youth that first volume as a whole is just very nostalgic to me and was definitely a staple of my childhood it also was my first introduction to Pac-Man Galaga Pole Position Rally X and it's sequel New Rally X and of course Bosconian as well so practically every single game on their where also part of my childhood anyways I experienced this game later on when I was older getting to play Ms Pac-Man dig dug and Galaxian as well as pole position 2 was definitely worth it and I enjoyed playing all of those games and watching this video is making me feel very comfortable it really feels like I'm revisiting my youth all over again those where pleasant and very simpler times
Good to know this wasn't a fever dream.
You're welcome.
Looking at that and listening to musics brings back memories of it all

Agreed
I have played this a lot when I was younger. It was specifically this one. Nostalgia.

VR is still a bit gimmicky at the moment, it's just not ready yet. and a good experience should be able to work with or without VR.

The giant Druaga model scare the shit out of anyone else as a kid?
Me bro 😂
This was so cool back then
Anybody else feel like their dreams are permanently affected by this game? Some of the deepest subconscious from this one.
*raises hand*
Yup it’s like a backroom
kinda makes me sick they still have never brought back the museum feature which was a main aspect of the experience.
Tell me about it!

Me too. My brother, sister and myself cracked up hard. xD
Part of me wishes we got a modern take on the PS1 version of Namco Museum where you explore an actual museum of Namco's games.

Oh my God... I just now realized that the 2021 Haunted PS1 Demo Disc was a whole reference to Namco Museum 3!

Give him a chance. He wants to be friends 😂
Big upgrade to the first 2..wish they kept the music it was so soothing...the rooms are so cool and the music made for them is the icing on the cake
Love this game and Spyro got the music
not gonna lie I wanna get a complete replica of this built..
The museum “workers” used to creep me out a ton as a kid
My cousins used to have this game.

I remember playing this at my grandmas house on the weekend as a shorty…then waking up in the morning and eating some cereal then back to the game.
good times, it was just a nice and relaxing not too much going on but at the time lots to look at.
Man it’s crazy how far games have come
sometimes not for the better, many games have forgot the vibe...

What console is this? Dreamcast? PS1? I'm surprised you didn't list it in the description...
It's in the tags but you can't see it so it's PS1
