You forgot that Misa gained the remaining lifespan from Rem when he decided to protect her. So, her lifespan isn't 12.5%. It's actually back to around where it was initially.
That’s true. Not to mention she was saved by a Shinigami before and gained his lifespan, so really, Misa cutting her lifespan down wouldn’t really affect her. Adding to Rem sacrificing herself for Misa and she gained even more years.

He sits there with his arms crossed just waiting patiently, unlike everyone else who immediately got a challenge. This may be a nod to the rule in the Death Note that claims "Any human who uses the Death Note can never go to heaven nor hell" since Light can't go to either, he isn't given a challenge to complete.

To be fair, the statistic of Japan having one of the lowest crime rates is skewed by the fact they also have one of the highest conviction rates. Meaning that they tend not to persue criminal justice unless they are sure they will nail a conviction. There's no way to know how many crimes take place that the police simply don't follow up on.

If Light would have just waited instead of killing Raye this would have been a very short anime. Raye said he would investigate Light for 2 more days and then stop.
@@MR3DDev L had Light as his prime suspect from the moment he learned about him. Even if Raye had stopped his investigation after 2 more days, L wouldn't have let go of Light, because like the other person say, he already had a pretty good idea of who Kira was. What L didn't known was how he did it, and who was helping him. The story made it perfectly clear that both knew who the other was the moment they first met face to face. After that point, there was no doubt in their respective minds. The conflict between L and Kira was was never a battle to unmask the other's identity, but a battle to take the other's out first.
You missed one Light appearance that I would have loved to hear you talk about. Light made a very quick appearance in the underrated Madhouse classic anime Death Parade. Where arbiters that decide the fate of the recently deceased forced a different character to judge Lights fate after he arrived.

I have rewatched this video multiple times, its perfect for when I need a background video when I do uni work
I have to watch part of this now and then come back because I have an appointment and rehearsal but YEAAAHHHH NEW HORROR HISTORY!!
Might want to break this one up into a few viewing sessions
@@CZsWorld ill give you two, take it or leave it
Skip the appointment.
You will never be a man, Btw.
Yo this is sick! You should cover more anime like AOT
Yay, it’s back up
Wow wow wow!!! You just made my day >.< it's like watching a discovery channel docu episode on movies/TV shows!
Your amazing.
Im already on my second viewing today. I love when someone is passionate about something and is able to completely go in depth!
a 4 hour long vid... damn! i can tell that you're so excited to cover this topic..
Not gonna lie the Japanese pronunciation of “killer” being “kira” is hilarious
im so glad you covered everything death note! i love this series and people don’t talk about it enough!
The scream I scrummed! I didn’t think I would see the day CZSWorld would cross into the anime world!
Only 36 minutes into this so far. Brilliant! Genius level. I want to rewatch the anime now.
You keep coming out with bangers!!! Just a great video after a great video
Okay, this is freaky… I just had a dream about Light Yagami last night :O Are you reading my mind, CZ???
Why are you having a dream about light???
@@aryansverses why not? :)
Oh my Death God. This came just in time for my birthday! What great timing!
Happy birthday. ❤
this is one of the most enjoyable videos i’ve seen in a long time! even knowing how it ends your recap never got boring in the whole 4 hours
This is a pleasur7e to watch and I am half way through.
I can tell how passionate you are about the topic adds so much to it. Feels like a very excited friend sharing something at a coffee.
Hope ya make more anime videos. Maybe Horror ones
Death Note is one of my top 5 Animes of all time. So I love the fact that this in-depth video exists though I thought it was a little OOC for CZsWorld now I know it's what helped jump start your channel I'm glad it's come full circle. When are you gonna do a complete history on Jason Vorhees? he is screaming for a Horror History I'm surprised you haven't done one yet.
Also I'm Team both, I would have been happy had either of them succeeded because I enjoyed both characters so much.
YO HE WASNT KIDDING THIS ONE IS A BANGER!
Can't wait to get through this one :) Not too far in but so far wanna say great job CZ!
This guys dedication to videos is underrated
Thanks CZ. This is highly appreciated.
The best horror history so far, love it
I'm glad for this Horror History from our favorite president. Hope everyone is having a great day!!!
"Actually this is boring! Let's use Harry Potter instead" I just died laughing
Ngl would love to see one of Lelouch Lamperouge! He’s definitely not as evil as Light but certainly an interesting case of someone who thinks they know what’s right/best
3:38:14 those fake "American" names are taken from a Japanese baseball game for the SNES "Fighting Baseball", it's quite a famous meme lol.
Yo, it's definitely Light in the afterlife waiting room in Death Parade, right?
Ryuk video is needed!!!
His and the Shinigami realm's ancient history would be fascinating to watch
Yep you’re right this is your most amazing video
We've gone full circle! CZs gained fame from Death Note and now his magnum opus is a cover of Death Note. It's like poetry - it rhymes
Okay but like…. Calling out a random stranger mid-video, who looks underage, and posting their picture is definitely a choice. Especially talkin shit about their natural hair.
What tf are you on about?
I love how you're teaching your audience the psychology behind the storyline. 🥳
Honestly, this video is amazing. No other UA-cam video on Death Note can touch this. The ending was fantastic too and very relatable, well done.
And thank you for formatted subtitles on your videos!
Death note was the first manga and anime I read/watched in full. So I’m stoked about this video
I’m at Mexico visiting family right now and I saw the notification and had to find service just to watch your videos. ❤❤❤
I grew up with the Spanish dubs, seeing your comment made me nostalgic of when I saw death note on Mexican cable
Slowing it down and getting to hear a more genuine voice rather than what sounds like AI is far more enjoyable
Now with this happening, will there be a chance to get a horror history on Alucard from Hellsing?
"I wanted to ask some of the biggest liars in the world, but since I don't know any politicians..." delivered so dryly, I wheezed audibly.
If Light would have just waited instead of killing Raye this would have been a very short anime. Raye said he would investigate Light for 2 more days and then stop.
It would not have been. L knew Light is Kira.
K1lling Raye and other agents was an offensive move, not a defensive.
@@Leonard_Wolf_2056 L only had a 5% certainty, you can't say he knew.
@@Leonard_Wolf_2056Still, Raye and Naomi’s deaths were what set L on Light’s trail even faster.
THANK YOU for focusing on the chip scene! I think true fans quote this on the regular 😂❤!
Light fit goes hard! This should be a good one!!
Happy Thanksgiving from Canada!
A yoshikage kira horror history would be amazing
2:18:36 Making Fun Of A Black Person’s Natural Hair Is Crazy Work 🤣
I was just about to say the same thing. It feels low key racist.
You missed one Light appearance that I would have loved to hear you talk about. Light made a very quick appearance in the underrated Madhouse classic anime Death Parade. Where arbiters that decide the fate of the recently deceased forced a different character to judge Lights fate after he arrived.
We need a horror history of orochimaru
1:42:00 "he's not letting anything distract him" that perfect editing 🤣😂🤣 many men would have gone astray 🤣😂
We need a Ryuk video and this is by far the best and most interesting and most entertaining video I've ever seen
A whole video about Shinigamis and their origins would be SO GOOD!
I stopped all the videos I was watching and it took me 3 days to get through this one.
I love the amount of effort that was put into this video. It was amazing!!!!
Yo I love your videos!! And I love the death note series!
Also I was the first comment
Commenting as recognition for the pure amount of work, time and perseverance put into this video. YES! Professor CZsworld is amazing in my book.
1:59:00 didn’t Misa gain the remaining lifespan of Rem since Rem sacrificed themself to save her?
Yeah, but it would have been halved again once she gets the eyes again
@@theashwoodfaerie2Misa has the life span of two shinigami.
I had to beak this video up several times time get thought it as I didn’t have the time to watch it in one sitting. This was a VERY THOROUGH, well thought out, wealth of information on DeathNote. 10/10 recommended for all mega fans of the franchise.
