Make your own PDF and 3D-printed LiDAR Maps!!

In this video learn how to make your own PDF maps that are easy to print out and take in the field with you on QGIS as well as how to print your own 3D printed terrain models using QGIS and your 3D printer.
Both of these are fantastic tools for the prospector, metal detectorist, and archeologist!

Please know that there is more free lidar available out there its just not all located in one place. Some states and countries will have their own separate databases for it.

Hey. Have you ever tried to print a map exactly how you did but also the information over it, like shp lines, text etc? I was wondering how to do that and i just cant make it happen :/ Once more, congrats for your work here. If anybody does, please, let me know.

So I can add txt and such, but I have yet to figure out how to turn something like a shp file of property lines into a 3d representation on the model.
