As an Agatha Christie fan and David Suchet admirer, I found this video Very interesting and well researched. Thank you for gifting us the inspiration for Hercule Poirot

This is a very interesting video about my absolute favourite author, Very throughly researched and delightfully presented. Sir David is the ultimate Poirot for me
You have hit upon a fine character (and author) to focus our little grey cells upon in turn. Thank you for such well researched (dare I suggest, meticulous) examples. I look forward to more. (Aside)..... Suchet made an exceptional corpus of work which I think would have delighted Agatha.
Once again, really happy to share. I adore the character and his portrayal by Suchet, and, yeah, dare to suggest, Agatha would've been delighted, indeed!
I think Agatha Christie would be so proud of David Suchet and the legacy he has left behind for the rest of the world to enjoy a character that he made jump off the pages of her books 📚 ❤
There was one tv movie of Murder On the Orient Express several years ago that used a lot of modern references like when ratchet mispronounces his name, the mispronunciation is a reference to Ross Perrot. Then there’s the fact poirot uses the internet to refer to the daisy armstrong case. Like what?
Love David Suchet. However I am less than imoressed with later series of both Poirot and Marple who insisted in putting woke values into both series. This also involved making changes from the books like changing the murderers.

David Souscet sp was the most believable and interesting

Do you mean the really bad Kenneth Branner adaptations? Because you’d be right.
Originally Christie borrowed the character from an existing ffictional sleuth whose last name was Poiret.
Always Peter Ustinov
