    i love how you said "you have the beads to do this" because I do have so many left overs from your projects I've done, and of course the seashells I have. I even had gotten some small pieces of colored sea glass from ebay so now I know what I'm using it for woo hoo thanks again Stephanie:)))

    I use stiffened felt. It is ridiculously cheap, and I use regular felt for the backing instead of ultra suede. Looks gorgeous and holds up great!

    Ohmygosh, Stephanie. The stitching on the reverse side [@ 2:52] of your working area (which will be hidden) is probably prettier than the finished sides of most of our work.

    Great video! Is there a problem bending the brass cuff to fit the wrist to get the bracelet on and off?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 років тому

      Thank you! No problem with bending the cuff slightly. However, with a wide cuff like this one, I bend it to almost perfect fit before I attach the beadwork so all I have to do to get it on and off is slightly bend it.

    Do you have to use fireline in beading embroidery it can you use a strong thread instead?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  3 роки тому

      I suppose you can use any strong thread depending on the foundation you use. Fireline stands up to stuff felt best in my opinion. If you’re weaving on suede or fabric the a thinner thread will be fine. I hope this helps😄

    Hi WAW I've always wanted to make this. Thought it was so much harder then you make it look. I'm defininanlly going to try it. Just have a few questions. Any reason why it has to be brass bracelet? Also the ones I've seen have a little indentation would that work or should I keep on looking?

    I watched a couple of your youtube videos when I was pursuing bead embroidery. I have done embroidery all of my life. I just need a little guidance in gauging and bead stitches. Someone contacted me with a nasty remark that I was your friend and I should buy from you. I have my finished items on Etsy, ebay and now Ecrater.com. I have years of experience in embroidery and I have developed my own stitches and designs and I resent the fact that this person thinks you were my friend when all I did was watch a few videos and picked up the rest of the skills and had some of them myself. I love designing and doing my own and deserve credit for it alone.

      Donna, I don’t listen to the nasties and you shouldn’t either🙏😊. I’m glad the videos were helpful to you.

    Thank you for your amazing video and helpful tips and genuinely sharing your experience! Maybe I will switch from cross-stitch to bead embroidery! Your voice is so soothing and I feel like I had stress-relieving meditation session plus got inspired to learn something new and challenging😍
