    I’ve found my first bead project! I’ve been watching awhile, saved several videos for later projects and now I’m ready. I certainly understand your knitting problem, I am the same except it’s crotchet. Years of doing nails has created arthritis in both thumbs so I needed to find something that wouldn’t put pressure on those joints. Your tuts are excellent and I have to say your voice has such a soothing quality to it! Thank you for all the freely given advice.

    Hi everyone! A viewer pointed out that I had said to sew 8 rows at the beginning to wrap around the tube bar when it is actually 16 rows. I was counting the beads from the side and forgot to double it!!! If you counted your rows from the side then you have no problem and all is fine, I just misspoke! l don't think it has had a deleterious effect on the bracelet because if you counted 8 rows on t he side you would have 16 rows if laid flat. So sorry - the hour was late and I was a little tired :) I hope I didn't confuse you - if i did let me know and I'll help you out ;)

      Hi, I have a question for you. I want to make the ring but i don't have and 8/0 or 6/0 beads. Can I achieve the same effect using 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads?

    Thank you Stephanie for all your wonderful videos 🤓 Your positivity and encouragement is so welcomed right now. I've been doing videos for a year now and have been discouraged by recent negative comments. I'm learning to deal with it but it felt so encouraging to hear you talk about your experience. Peggy, I'm so happy you decided to try this bracelet! Almost all of my tutorials are beginner to advanced beginner plus a few challenges here and there😄 My goal for this channel is to simplify and demystify bead weaving so thank you for giving it a go! I'd love to see your colors (post on FB if you like)

    I really do like this bracelet; I did not realize how much I like this bracelet until I made one and put it on; once it was on my wrist I fell in love; I love how you can play around with the row count, and I also love the play on color and shade as each unit increases and decreases with bead size; what a great bracelet design 💙

    I really love this design and I finally made the ring too. I'm playing with Czech tricut beads (because I have some in my stash) as the biggest bead in the pompom and it is quite pretty. It's really a comfortable ring to wear, that's for sure, and zipping up the band is so cool leaving no trace of a seam. I love your designs, Stephanie!

    Love love love your sense of color and design, thank you so much for your patience and sense of humor! I was thinking, one way to keep track of how many rows one has put on, maybe count out 15 beads for each size, each time we switch sizes? That way, if you have put on the 15 beads, you are done with 3 rows!!

    This is one of my favorite bracelets, I don't have one! I've made 3, but they disappear when your family (girls) and their friend see them. I have to laugh, because my daughter sold one and the ring to a girl at work. I was shocked! THANKS FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT TEACHER. Stephanie, I have made beaded jewelry and taught beading classes for a few years now but I had never made a ring. I liked the look of yours so I watched your video and tried it. It came out great but I think I need to cut the vertical size down for me a bit. But I wanted to tell you that I enjoyed listening to you (you have a pleasant sounding voice) and found your "patter" so comforting that I ended up watching several of your videos. You do a really nice job and your explanations are easy to understand. I will be sure to pass your site on to friends and clients who are interested in learning some new pieces. Thank you!

    I love this bracelet! I think it's my favorite one! I learned how to make it at my local bead store some fifteen years ago. I was my first formal stitched bracelet and the very first time I heard the word "peyote". The rest is history! What can I tell you? I love stitching beads, buying beads, or just playing with them. I call that place "candy store" since I love sweets more than toys..LOL!!!!☺️ Thanks for the wonderful video and for the memories!!!!!

    I really like this, but I have a real small wrist, size six, and I found I had to scale it down for me, I had to use only 8 beads to start, and instead of 4 rows of each color, I used only 2 rows as I went, in order to get enough puffys to look good on such a small wrist. Thank you Stephanie, I love you and your work.

    I wanted to mention how I start peyote which I find easy to hold. I string rows 1 and 2, and then take a head pin or tail pin and run it through every other bead. This forces rows 1 and 2 into a staggered configuration. Also, the pins are stiff, and often longer than my piece is wide, so they're easier to hang onto than the tiny rows of delica. This technique is especially useful if you're doing something where the beads in rows 1 and 2 are different , like when doing a peyote tapestry bracelet with multiple colors and the colors need to be in the right place for the pattern.

      Hi dandy😃I didn't see your comment earlier - so sorry!!! I add thread by threading a needle with a length of thread and adding a stop bead. Then I sew up through the beads in the previous row or two until I get to where my working thread is coming out of. Make sure your new thread is exiting the same bead as your old thread. I don't clip off the old thread until I have secured the new thread by beading a couple of rows. Hope this hrlps🌸

    This is beautiful and the instructions are very clear. Only thing is - Fusion Beads is out of the tube clasp - I've been looking but haven't been able to find one. Any suggestions where else I might get one or an alternative clasp? Really want to wear this out so any suggestions are highly appreciated.

    Thank you so very much Stephanie. I have enjoyed many hours making your designs. This is one of the bracelets that I had a little trouble with the clasp. It is probably beader error but I cannot not the tube clasp fit. I find that my peyote strip is just a mm tpo wide to fit into the tube. Any suggestions?
    Sorry, typos...I cannot make my bracelet ends fit into the tube clasp. My ends are too wide to fit.
    I just answered my own question, lol. I just happened to realize that I wasn't using Miyuki 15/0 Delicas but another brand. I made a test strip using Miyuki's and it fits!

    Stephanie, they are all beautiful. Will you be doing a tutorial with the turquoise and a bigger mound? just interested in how you got it to puff up like that and the amount of 15 seed bead rows and the size 11. Thanks for sharing.

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  8 років тому

      Hi Brenda😃 Missed your query earlier - so sorry! The Turq and silver bracelet uses 6/0 seeds as the largest bead. Materials are in the description box below the video. So I used 6/0, 8/0, 11/0, 15:0 to get the larger bump.

    Hi Stephanie love all your jewelry. You are great at explaining everything. Thank you for that. I just have one question is it possible for you to approximate how many delicas and or seed beads you use. Because a few times I thought I'd have enough and was short some. Thank in advance

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  8 років тому

      I think you should have at least 5gms of each seed bead so you have enough to finish. You will have some left over but that is not unusual. I think the package sizes start at 5gms.

    • @TH-dj3zo
      @TH-dj3zo 8 років тому

      Thanks its just sometimes I'm not sure and HATE to run short in the middle. It's usually just when I'm in the swing and I've got a good rhythm going that I realize not going to hate enough.

    Hi there! I can't wait to make this bracelet. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm ordering now and I see one Fire Polish that I would love to use but as you could expect, it is a 2mm. I'm thinking the "bump" may be unnoticed and may not curve. What do you think the impact to the bracelet would be if I use the 2mm? Thanks!

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 років тому +1

      Hi Cher! I think the 2mm would be fine but may not curve as much. This bracelet would look pretty if flat as well so I'd give it a try 😀

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 років тому

      iTube22100 Thanks for the nice comment! The 3mm Hematite beads are real stone Hematite but you can use any 3mm beadlike a fire polish bead. I think I would stick to round beads instead of a bicone for this if you are a beginner! Have fun :)

      eBeadsBay sells the faceted Hematite. It is a store on Amazon.com. I think a 16 inch strand is 3.99 or 4.99. Take a look at the store and see what you think :)

    When your running out of thread do you pick a particular bead size where you end and where you start. like at what point do you change your thread at your 6/0, 8/0, 11/0 or do you just change your thread where ever you run out. I hope you understand!

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 років тому

      Yvette - just make sure your new thread comes out of the same bead as the old thread then weave the old thread through some beads on the diagonal and start your beading with your new thread. I hope that helps :)

    Stephanie, was wondering if you could tell me the colors for the blue/silver bracelet you made that is on the right hand side of the screen when all the bracelets are laid out. I also would like to know what you used in the turquoise one on the bottom. Your color sense is amazing. I did make the hematite one and ring. I just need to put on the clasp.
