Thanks for sharing such a helpful (and relaxing) tutorial on using flower frogs! Your flowers and arrangements are beautiful and inspiring. Hugs from Canada! 😊❤
Oh my goodness I have been forever obsessed with flower frogs bugg TV was unsure as to how to use them! Thank you so very much for showing such pretty examples!! I know what I will be collecting now ☺️😉 How fun!!
This is helpful!!! I found a milk crate of these cleaning out my MIL's basement! Planning a small backyard wedding next summer and I want to use these instead of floral foam. I practiced with them a little bit using flowers from the garden and it was so fun and easy! I think these really add some oomph to an arrangement, rather than just plopping them in a vase.
Wee question Julie, firstly may I say your arrangements are beautifully created. When thinking about the floristry rule of smallest flowers to the outside and larger flowers to your focal area, how does this compare to each other when doing all types of arrangements? In other words does it not apply for doing all designs? Thanks
Great question Joan. The rules are there to guide you. They're a great starting point As a confident flower arranger, you can break them. With traditional arrangements the rules work well. For more modern/contemporary work you may find yourself breaking the rules more often What I would say, if you decide your arrangement needs that something else, add it! Try setting yourself a challenge. Screenshot arrangements that catch your eye online and then take a really close look - do they follow the rules, or are they rule breakers?
Sharing a link to your flower frog arranging in my new upload today. Thanks for your tips!
Thank you @ladymarybeth - I'll shall watch with interest, and share 💐

That's the old mic - I had to turn the sound up to 200% when I edited the video to make it audible
