@@frostdragonheart2500 Sakura slash is for inexperienced LS players. You can get to red spirit bar with foresight a lot easier if you know how to use the LS.

@@KidBowsur I'm also shocked at this. I feel like I play other weapons like IG and DB much better and more cleanly, but my times are so much lower with sloppy LS runs...
The music that's playing in the background is quite fitting. Zinogre is fighting for his life against a truly horrifying monster despite it knowing it has no chance of winning.
The music makes this feel more like an execution than a hunt.

@@inoob26 that has been an issue with LS since it was first implemented into the MH series.
Peppo is probably quite pissed because they still haven't fixed helm splitter's failing hit box detection

@@orlad.hunter3344 half? He showed 4 clips of it. I’d MAYBE give you the second one he might have gone too far in front of Zino even than it looks like it should be a hit. But the other 3 clips the slice literally goes through Zino each time.

@@thatoneflyinghat at the end of the video TDS shows a bug where the helm breaker doesn't do any damage despite it looking like it hit 3:08. It was a bug in MHW
Edit: it has made TDS has wasted hours of failed attempts because of this

Love the Ghost of Tsushima music playing in the back ground. It's fitting sense it's the song that played when u first unlocked Ghost Stance. In the siege of yarikawa. Good stuff.

Thats how they balanced longsword your helmsplitter just doesn't register randomly.
I like how this video has highlights at the end which made the video longer, and tricked you into believing the hunt would be longer.
Nice use of the Ghost of Tsushima music. The OST is brilliant in that game.

That glitch with the spirit helm not doing damage happens often to me too. Hope Capcom fixes that

Dude the Spirit Helmbreaker not doing damage is actually a bug, I thought I was just bad at landing hits even though I clearly do it the same way as this video. All hail team darkside and their awesomeness!!! GS main here but I can see the benefits of using the LS and the counters it can do.

Reminder guys just because he makes it look ez, doesn't mean it is. If it was every LS user would be having vids on UA-cam. This is what a master level with perfect gear player is capable with LS.

With that counter attack it's the easiest weapon to play.
seems to strong to me aswell, obv still mad skill with the rest of the performance, but being able to hold that counter stance for so long i think is silly max like 2-3 secs might have been reasonable
@@alanwelch9216 Yeah with that long hold it's super easy to use it too quickly and by making that mistake you don't have any real penalty, you just hold it until monster attack. I think it should eat your stamina as long as you hold it just like with Lance power guard. So after 3 seconds you are out of stamina.

A speedy Special Sheath, combined with Iai Spirit Slash that levels up your Spirit Gauge.
Now that's a deadly combination! You could just slay monsters using only those 2 moves & the Helmbreaker 👌

Aaay the ghost of tsushima's Yarikawa theme.
The rimeblossom is one of my favourite weapon designs, nice to see it being put to good use.
I haven't been able to build Elemental LS yet, can't get good talismans, but Rimeblossom I believe can output greater damage than Deepest Night on monsters weak to ice, especially with Spirit Helm Breaker since Rime is only 1 of the 2 usable LS that can have Silkbind Boost Rampage skill, the other one being Tigrex if you actually attach the skill before you upgrade the previous sword into the Tigrex Tree.
Reason for the Narga weapons being quite good is because they are the easy to build, all around weapons for Raw damage. But if one has the talisman for it, Rimeblossom is definitely a better choice for monsters weak to ice.
