What Mad Bum did in the series will never be topped. Still the best pitching performance. After this game, I had a great feeling we would win. GM6 almost made me doubt it. But when Mad Bum walked out of the bullpen, I knew we were going to be fine. Can’t wait for GM7.
This was the same day that Oscar Taveras died and I remember Ken Rosenthal reporting his death in between innings. Juan Perez and Taveras were friends in the Dominican Republic and even with the death of his friend on his mind, Perez still came into the game and balled out.
I was in the dugout store when the news broke in the 3rd inning I believe. I remember Tavares tipping his cap to the crowd when ishikawa walked off game 5 NLCS. His last time on a baseball field. Despite that terrible news, what an electric night in the city this was.
The Kansas City Royals were one pitcher away from winning the World Series in 2014. They didn't get that pitcher until the following year though with Cueto.
lol, totally insane in today's game that you'd leave a pitcher in at 100+ pitches in a World Series with a 5-0 lead knowing that you might need to bring him back in a pinch.
I can’t get tired of watching Madison Bumgardner compete in the postseason he’s one of the great competitors of the 21st century I’ve seen he’s up there with Mariano Rivera as greatness goes in October I just just admire the guy so much his pitching motion is silky smooth and his demeanor on the mound is something you gotta teach to pitchers he’s so stoic you wonder if he has blood or ice water running through his veins

BARRYBONDS SF Giants Agreed. Madison should have retired a Giant. He earned that respect.
@BARRYBONDS SF Giants They made the right move. Management can't get emotional handing out contracts...that's what got them in trouble following 2014.
@@deadhardyfacts!!!
Sandoval was such a good hitter, the way he pokes those doubles down the line, just amazing
thats my favorite way to hit it. as a righty down right field. so satisfying
I think his arm was underrated. He threw some howitzers to 1st that would have been infield singles against weaker arms

That big hit from Perez really put a smile on my face.
RIP

Macavi Belén sanchez
That look on Butler's face after he struck out against that curve lol
“That’s not even fair!”😅
My jaw dropped when Perez absolutely dropped the hammer on that triple
If that got out, I think AT&T would’ve collapsed
It was a double, Perez went to third on the throw.
Seeing him high five Cain and Lincecum at the end...
I don’t care what baseball writers and voters say, Tim Lincecum is a baseball god and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. Brian Wilson too.

I'll never forget watching this game through the arches in right field. We somehow knew this was the top of the wave and to savor this moment.
One of the most memorable world series game in my opinion
Sean, thank you for posting these and giving me something to look forward to everyday man!

11:38 may just be my favorite MadBum moment with the Giants. Butler absolutely frozen and he knew it.

Mad bum is forever giant. What a beast
Mad bum, best pitcher in world series ever, lowest Era ever, love Mad bum 😀😀
A nicely edited video.
if not madbum, pablo would be mvp again
hunter pence hit 427 in this series and dropped. a1300 ops
That curve to Butler was so nasty
The greatest pitcher in World Series history
Im sorry Barry couldn't be a part of this
MadBum!!!
a fucking masterpiece
i always think Buck is a jinx whenever he say that someone is “virtually impossible/unhittable”
12:41 "Bascially unhittable" Once again, another awful cold take by Joe Buck and once again them Giants proving everyone wrong almost instantly lol
One good thing for the Royals is they didn't have to face Bumgarner no more
they still had game 7 to contend with
Game 7 was off the Charts 😅😅😅
