Omar Infante must hate the Giants. Was a Brave in 2010 and eliminated. Was a Tiger in 2012, and about 2 innings away from being swept, he has his hand broken by a pitch. Then in 2014, he slips on the grass to eventually allow the series winning run to reach base. At least he got a ring the next year.
Michael Morse’s performance is always completely overshadowed in this game (for obvious Madbum reasons) but that dude represented everything it meant to be a Giant, just a gritty player who stepped up when it mattered most
Casey DeMarco It’s insane to think that he played a lot of the postseason with a strained oblique too!! It’s the definition of “if I can be there, I can play. I don’t care if I’m injured, I’m gonna play”
Still unbelievable this was five years ago. I still get chills watching this game. The moment Mad Bum came out of the bullpen, iconic. The ending was gut wrenching as I thought momentum was going to shift for KC. But Mad Bum just remained collective. Such a great series.
Yeah, my heart sank big time when Blanco and Perez both fumbled the ball. It made me nervous as hell on each pitch. But when the Panda caught the ball, I jumped out of my seat and yelled "Wooo!!
Game 1: Perez scores the only run in Madbum's World Series career. Game 7: Madbum gets his revenge on Perez by making him the final out (it should have been Gordon).
I had a sub for my Geometry class on this day and we were talking about game 7 and we were arguing cuz I thought Bum would definitely pitch at some point in this game and he said there is no way Bum would come in with 2 days rest. I wish I could have seen him the next day ! 😂
I remember watching this game with my neighbor and we talked about how many innings madbum would pitch. I said 2 😂 and inning after inning I looked to him and said he can give one more. Then I said it over and over until Sandoval caught the last out. Thank you madbum Edit: Just want to add Affeldt doesn’t get enough credit for his work this game. Also the greatest double play turned in a WS ever!!!!
I don’t think I’ll ever watch as much baseball as I did over those five plus years ever again. Not because I don’t want to. Because I don’t think the game will ever be the same. The SF Giants dynasty and the 2014 post season revealed something in Major League Baseball that will change the game moving forward.
Epic series, great game. Been waiting on this game. MadBum? Game over. Edit: team effort all the way. Everybody did their part and contributed. Thanks, Sean.
This series was the ultimate dog fight. I was in Guam when this was going on, and as happy as I was that we won it, I was just as relieved it was over 😅
I was also in guam watching this game in school. My highschool teachers knew i loved baseball so they let me miss parts of class to watch this. Die hard giants fan.
I was an A’s fan in my childhood. And these Giants man… I couldn’t STAND THEM. They always found a way to win in the postseason. This game in particular, I couldn’t have rooted for the Royals more. And my A’s were always getting rid of their stars. Cespedes, Donaldson, Reddick, Muncy, Gray, and now recently with Olson and Chapman. All I saw over the years was complete disloyalty from the A’s to its fans and players. And now they’re moving away. So… I said fuck it, I’m done. The A’s will never do it for the fans. All John Fisher cares about is money. I am now a Giants fan as of around the end of May. And ya know what? I love it. This team actually gives a fuck. They have the will to win. It’s been so fun watching the Giants fight back in these games as of late (June-July 2023). Now I feel like I can confidently root for a team that WANTS to win. And now, I’m looking back at these World Series wins that I despised watching as a kid. I don’t have that feeling of “I witnessed my team win this championship” like older Giants fans do, but I now enjoy watching these old postseason wins. In conclusion… Go Giants!
The 2014 postseason for MadBum was throwing like a Christy Matthewson Dominated like a Sandy Koufax Also, Finished the game dominantly Resembles Bob Gibson
Me = Did you beat Kansas City in the World Series? San Francisco = Yes Me = What did it cost? San Francisco = We lost to Kansas City in the Super Bowl not once but twice in 54 and 58
My goodness... Madbums performance still gives me chills. How this never went down as one of the greatest professional sports performances is beyond me. This is like Tiger Woods historic and yet nobody outside of baseball fans would recognize Bum in the streets 😂
I think the performance is recognized by all sports fans who know anything about baseball. Each postseason since 2014, the announcers compare how each team's ace has done relative to Bumgarner (and every year since, the other pitchers have fallen short without exception).
Pablo gets hit by a pitch that leads to the first run, then he legs out an infield single that he probably gets thrown out on if Infante doesn't slip and that led to the winning run. Baseball gods at work right there 😁😁
I think we would've won 1 more if Pablo stayed. But he wanted a 100 mil. And no weight gain restrictions. I don't blame him tho. 3 titles let the man eat 😁

baseball can be cruel like that. That ring made up for it but the Giants are not on Omar's Christmas list.

Was thinking that while watching this gem of a game.
💯
Best short-term SF Giant of all time. Recommend a MM Cameo - my wife bought one for my birthday and he did an absolutely incredible job
Morse. Off the bench. Tie game.

Such a great series.
Incredible Jake reminiscent of the 02 series there for a bit
Mikel Hylkema
Yeah definitely. Very similar both Wild Card teams too.
Dude you can just hear the crowd go silent and feel the air kinda leave them

What would a Giants World Series be without a little Torture!? 🤪
It's been 8 years and my hands still get sweaty at the fumble that went on at 18:30
My heart sank watching it live
Well Sean thanks for the little movie series of playoff games from 2010, 12, and 14. I watched one of these videos every night before bed hahaha
Seeing MadBum warm up gave me chills, and probably made Royals fans poop themselves.
The Golden Era of SF Giants Baseball :)
Game 1: Perez scores the only run in Madbum's World Series career.
Game 7: Madbum gets his revenge on Perez by making him the final out (it should have been Gordon).
I still love Buster Posey going up to Madbum, giving a buster hug , than saying “ I love you man .” Goosebumps everytime

Is this Panda’s last game as a Giant?
Well yes, but no
Well it’s been fun
It Never gets old watching this. Epic times.

This game was over as soon as MadBum stepped on the field

Thanks, Sean.
I hope to see the Giants clinch the World Series at home someday!!!!

@@mattmaniac1 Hafa Adai! That's way awesome!
I miss baseball
Série inolvidable 🎉😂😊
Beautifully edited. This video is reading my mind, showing me everything I want to see!
Minus the Madbum entrance.
Lindo mi equipo los gigantes de San Francisco ❤
Thank you so much for all these videos brother. Had so many good times with family watching these games. Go Giants
You cannot fully comprehend how good Bumgarners scoreless pitching was. He won the game for us.

3 in 5. No NL team has done that since the 1940's Cards. Giants are the definition of a sports dynasty.
Mad Bum Goated
Bro, I honestly miss panik
ジャイアンツが苦しみ抜いての敵地で決めたワールドチャンピオン。4勝3敗で両チームよく頑張った。ジャイアンツは5戦目に勝ったのがワールドチャンピオンに繋がった。
Great game for the GIANTS, Nos.40, 9, 12, 28, 35 and Mngr. Butchy and all the players.👍👍👍
Let’s go again ...
The 2014 postseason for MadBum was throwing like a Christy Matthewson
Dominated like a Sandy Koufax
Also, Finished the game dominantly

michael morse unsung hero
Fun fact: San Francisco won all of their world series on their opponents home ground.
2010 in texas.
2012 in detroit
2014 in kansas
Man, I bet E-40 was going crazy!
Me = Did you beat Kansas City in the World Series?
San Francisco = Yes
Me = What did it cost?
San Francisco = We lost to Kansas City in the Super Bowl not once but twice in 54 and 58
22:21 - “What’re they cheering for?” Lol
Sportsmanship fans
Royals fans see Madison Bumgarner shifting his belt, walking out the bullpen... they like "fuk it... its over" lol
"Technology and stuff"
Here in 2024
Let’s win another one this year so we can have another rewind for this postseason
Classic
Joe Buck: "The Giants defense has been outstanding tonight".
Bottom of the 9th: Hold my beer.
The 2 things I love about this World Series and the one after this are 1) my giants won and 2) KC's redemption story in 2015
My goodness... Madbums performance still gives me chills. How this never went down as one of the greatest professional sports performances is beyond me. This is like Tiger Woods historic and yet nobody outside of baseball fans would recognize Bum in the streets 😂

Are you going to do the 2016 wildcard game as well? I also have a suggestion, you should do the NL West clinching game in 2010.
THIS SHIT MEANS SOMETHING TO ME
What are you gonna be doing after this game? 2016 wildcard?
Starting in a few days, 2019 Sacramento River Cats playoff games
Sean Bialaszek oh sweet that’ll be interesting thanks for your hard work!
Fun times
You look into today and you NEVER see pitchers getting worked like that and being successful. Mad bum is a different breed
10:21 fastest panda on planet earth!! 🐼
You can see all them KC fans be like damn it, Madison coming in to pitch we losing
I think we would've won 1 more if Pablo stayed. But he wanted a 100 mil. And no weight gain restrictions. I don't blame him tho. 3 titles let the man eat 😁
At least you aren't an As fan.
We?
Plot Twist, Bochy only challenged the double play so Panik could get a new belt
