So, the Space Hulk guys are essentially like elf foot soldier/scout NPC's in any fantasy setting: Hundreds of years of battlefield training and experience, centuries old weapons and armor, but offed at the drop of a hat.
Well yes, but actually no. Genestealers are some of the most dangerous troop-sized things in 40k **which is really saying something** They're as strong as a space marine but twice as fast, their claws can slice through terminator armor and their hide can deflect direct bolter hits. Basically if you put _anything_ up against genestealers it's going to get fucked instantly.
As the old US Army ad campaign used to point out, there are 212 ways to be a soldier. In the grim darkness of the far future, one of them is evidently "drilling man goo out of your dead comrades."
I've never understood why companies keep remaking the same Space Hulk over and over, but nobody has ever done a remake of the vastly superior Space Crusade.
Being apart of the beta, and then playing the full game. I enjoyed it alot more than most of the remade versions. Ofcourse not as great as Crusade but it is up there imo.
Unfortunately, There will likely never be a Space Crusade remake for the very worst of reasons: legal reasons. Space Crusade was a joint effort between Games workshop and Milton-Bradley, now owned by Hasbro, so both companies have fifty percent ownership and can veto each other from doing anything with it. Same reason Geno will never be in another Mario game, Nintendo doesn't completely own him.
That series they talk about at the end sounds awesome! I'm super excited to watch that. As someone who plays warhammer and finds most battle reports a bit cumbersome, that sounds perfect.
Ooooh btw there is a wonderful warhammer 40k mod for my favorite RTS game of all time called "Men if war assault squad 2" you should definitely check it out its so much fun and has so much in it , it's definitely more casual than most RTSs because you can just mess around in the editors and play your own custom missions, anyways if you want to try it out D M me on UA-cam I'll get you setup with the mods and even setup a couple missions for you guys. Love the videos keep up the awesome content!!!!
You guys should play the xenonauts mod, X-division. It makes the game ridiculously hard, just like how you guys played terror from the deep on the hardest difficulty! It would be another great series to start at some point, or play in turns that along with the x-files
more likely to cover oils in chem and get nudged towards organic chem not for sugars but for petrochemical lanes. although the basic functions of carbohydrates breaking down into sigars and the body getting nearly all its ATP from those sugars with fat and protein metabolising being the general description of starvation, should really common knowledge to everyone in the information age and its pretty bad show on schooling budgets that it isn't. (yes diets are controlled self starving why do you think they suck so much to do)
Every piece of WH40K lore I've ever seen has felt uncannily like poetry written surreptitiously in Social Studies class by a pubescent heavy metal enthusiast in about 1982. It has exactly that same combination of delirious pretension, Darqueness For Its Own Sake, and poorly conjugated Latin verbs. :) (Speaking of poorly conjugated, did anyone involved in the production of this game even _consider_ proofreading the text? The evidence argues against it. "OVERWATCH DONE ON A ASSAULT." "AUTO SHOOT ON MOVE on/off toggle DONE ON A APOTHECARY." "... before they become aware your presence." Jesus wept.)
Ben hits enter to confirm hits in xcom??? What a strange way to play. I know taking your hand off the mouse to hit enter isn't the most taxing thing but it would get old pretty fast. All you need to do is click again to confirm, you don't need to press enter. Jesus Ben, your poor wrists
Raven Guard apothecaries have sometimes been shown to have white helmets. Also all 1st Company veterans in the Ultramarines have white helmets, including Terminators.

They arnt dying they are teleporting away to safety ;)
Never have considered that apothecary is a profession where you drill space marines for their man goo.
Sounds saucy
As the old US Army ad campaign used to point out, there are 212 ways to be a soldier. In the grim darkness of the far future, one of them is evidently "drilling man goo out of your dead comrades."
"...hold your fire until we make visual contact."
Don't shoot until you can see it? Great advice.
as opposed to fire for suppression or cover
Or just jumping at shadows which would be way better
''dont shoot at any vague shadow that you think is a xenos''
@@ChestOfDoom what about specific shadows
@@suddencrysis3134 If its a specific shadow then open fire my boi
That white helmet thing cracked me up good. thanks for the laughs my beautiful boys
the fear on Lewis's face when Ben said he wasn't interested in Age of Sigmar was amazing.
FILTHY XENOS DOORS
you didnt mention that you were a DR.
And thus, the Yogperium gained the Termino Porta Destruentes, the Door Busters space marine chapter.
58:10 "this week, Hentai minesweeper"
You guys sent me down the bottomless rabbit hole that is Warhammer 40k lore trying to understand what everything is in this game.
I've been there because of these types of videos too.
RIP

Becase it's got man goo,and I don't think space crstyzs has man goo in it

What a game! What a crew! What plays! What a day to be alive!
Battlefleet Gothic Armada is a game that is missing from this channel.
I do actually find myself needing a new mug, Lewis & Ben, hint hint
In the 2013 space hulk, I had the walking animations set to the fastest and the space marines looked like they were waddling along.
1:17:00 Ultimate apocalypse mod for Dawn Of War Soulstorm is amazing. Hundreds more units, Titans, Nukes, map variety, gamemodes.... So much stuff.
I would definitely like to see some more of this!
Really enjoyed this guys!
Lewis and Ben save the World Cup?! , would be an instant buy! if it not going out, I'm copying that myself
I was apart of the Beta for this game. Loved it!
Mind you i saw some very questionable bugs and breaks hahaha
well ben... in the first mission they literally say they were on a scouting mission and the whole teleport thing was their"Emergency escape protocol"

58:12 Hentai MineSweeper...got to look this one up
I would love to see them play Phantom Doctrine.
Actionpoint is primary use. the card effect itself is only for emergency use.
Also: My Face is my shield! Wait-*gets eaten by Genestealer*
1:39:44 is the end of the stream's break, technically.
I want to watch that open xcom 40k mod so badly
We're not allowed to show it. But i'm the boss....
Why not play old fallout after xcom files is done?
Perfect. They can play Fallout Tactics!
@@Brewtifulteas That amongst the originals would work. Since the old VATS system was fully turn based.

LITERALY UNPLAYABLE!

I think 30 minutes for a bat-rep is reasonable

Exactly my reaction. lol
Fixed now tho and on sale too
BATTLEBOYS MORE 40K!
yes yes yes yes
MOOOORE
you should play aurora 4x
Yeah I asked for this
Why is there no turn timer countdown for the terminators i always felt like that was the best inclusion in the game.
1:55:05 sexxy ben growl FTW
Lewis did a Chemestry degree right? Surely he should know that not all sugars are created equal. And that most of what we eat are sugars.
