Building a 3D space hulk

In this video I´m building a room for my 3D space hulk board using some UV LEDs and my glowinthedark resin tubes that I made in a previous video.
This wargaming table will work for any game in 28mm such as necromunda, warhammer or killteam even if its built for space hulk in general.

Lighting accents in little alcoves work so well for models like this. The glowing tubes really elevate this model to the next level!

@@boboshobby the biggest problem you will have is the lighting, do you make it look super cool and dark with smoke and stuff or do you make it look bright so people can see the game better?
Personally I would do some cool dark atmospheric action shots with added effects like weapons fire etc at the start and end of the vid with a more traditional battle report for the main . . You could always add little action shots through the vid, this actually helps with editing. . I will definitely keep an eye out as that would be awesome, . . Easily the best gaming board I have ever seen .

@@boboshobby Yep! I’m sure this type of board would help “Line of Sight” issues when looking down a hallway into a room.

Make it an objective for the troops to find the actual light control box and turn little things on throughout the map, like a tiny fan to clear out toxic fumes etc.

Wow awesome.. ive just started doing a spacehulk 3d map to print with an 8k resin printer. Im currenly doing tests.. cant wait to get it up to share with the community.. there will be different themes and tile sets for different campaigns.. man spacehulk is such a great game id love to further develop it ;)

Thank you! The Doors are from games workshop's old terrain kit "city's of death". I use these as a guide when building but i also made som different door types, check out my Instagram of you want to see more stuff

Can I ask.. do you make all the floor tiles with textured plasticard??
I started using old gamesworkshop tiles from citys of Death but I cant get o hold of them any more so mostly textured plasticard

Awesome work, but can you please share what are the dimensions of one square-shaped tile?
Offcourse! All floortiles are 46mm square (this is the size of the old citys of death floor tiles)
