    Join me for this total body workout, designed to get you dancing with your hoop while working the abs, arms and legs.
    This is definitely a challenging workout, guaranteed to get you working up a sweat. You can repeat this video multiple times and remember it will get easier every time you try :D
    In this video we will…
    💥 Hula hoop for a full 30 minutes
    💥 Keep the energy high
    💥 Hoop on both sides
    Warm up and cool down.
    I have not included any warm up or cool down in this video. However I advise that you do this before and after your hula hoop workout.

    Suitable for beginners! More experienced hoopers can work controlling their dance moves as we run through the exercise routine!
    Yes, we spin both ways!
    We hoop in both directions which is essential for even muscle development. I know this can be hard if you’re not used to it. So you can always build up strength on your weaker side by simply waist hooping with your arms in neutral. Repeat this video and eventually you’ll be a able to do everything with ease :)
    Which Hoop?
    This is great workout for using a heavy dance hoop. I’m using a 100cm diameter dance hoop with 25mm thickness tubing. You can equally use your weighted hoop for this workout or any heavy hoop you feel comfortable hula hooping with.

    Can’t wait to try this workout! I’ve been doing your 18 minute workout that you released a couple of months ago. I absolutely love it & have been doing it 3 time’s a week for the past month. I’m still not very good at hooping on my weaker side but I can see some small improvements. Thanks for being awesome! Gonna try this one tomorrow!x

      Yes I also had to completely relearn to hula hoop on the weaker side. But just a little bit every day makes a massive difference. 😁

      Well it does depend on a bunch of factors; age, weight, skill... etc and there is not a massive amount of scientific data on this. However the American Council on Exercise did do a study on calories burned during a hula hoop workout. They concluded that it burns on average 210 calories per 30 minutes (or 420 p/hour).
