Sir, The problems you have solved it is awesome, thank you sir, you made all biology based problems to feel too easy, you help me to clear my exams thanks a lot
can you help out with this please, thanks The genome of a virus consists of double-stranded DNA. It contains 20 percent adenine, 20 percent thymine, 30 percent cytosine and 30 percent guanine. The genomic DNA has been treated with a restriction enzyme that cuts the DNA at the AGCT site. Calculate the average number of fragments if the genomic DNA of the virus is known to contain 300 kb.
Hello sir!! Your videos are wonderful and extremely helpful. Can we pay you to solve specific exercises? I'm struggling a lot with population genetics problems
How do you know that if A+T = 56% that exactly half of that percentage is the number of adenine and timine (28+28 = 56). What if the number is that we have for example (26 adenine + 30 timine)?
Helpful video sir. Also. this is completely unrelated but how do i calculate the number of the nucleotides a double stranded DNA molecule has which is 250,000bp (250kb) long?

Thanks and welcome
Great video, really cleared things up for me!
Great to hear!
another quality video for the day! thank you sir
Glad you like them!

I can do it for free just post a link to google doc with your problems in a comment box under any of the videos.

In double stranded DNA number of A equal to T, and C to G cause these bases make base pairs.

Just multiply by 2.
Part b will be 680 nm
