@Nikolay's Genetics Lessons , hi sir how did you write the base on starting of the session you didn't explain in any of your videos . you could write and directly go to counting of base pairs pls explain AGCCTTAGA 😭😭😭😭 I dint understand
@@GeneticsLessons first of all ver thank you to reply my question 🙏🙏 why don't you take 10 are 15 A and C bases and the two strand are comes same number
There is no way to say if it is double stranded or single stranded based on this information. The ratio can be any and it is not going to help to answer this question.
@@ramona283 No. Just imagine 10 base pair long double stranded DNA with 9 C and 1 A on one strand than on the other we will have 9 G and one T so 18/2 and this is Double stranded DNA - we can change these ratio and it is still going to be double stranded DNA. The different story if we take ratio of AG/TC it is going to be 1+9/1+9 =1 so AT/TC or TC/AT in dsDNA is always 1 and if not it is single stranded DNA.
Your videos are a lot of help, thanks
Glad to help
After watching your videos I clear my knowledge that's why I thankful to you every day .
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.

Thank you for the clear explanation.

I just took random sequence.

It is just random and is not important.
Thanks man
You're welcome!
Great indeed make more videos
More to come!
If the value of A+G/C+T is less than 1 or higher than 1 it will be single stranded??
Yes.
What if A+T/C+G is equal to 1? How can I say if its double stranded or single stranded?
There is no way to say if it is double stranded or single stranded based on this information. The ratio can be any and it is not going to help to answer this question.
@@GeneticsLessons thank you for tha info! But I wonder, can this ratio (A+T or U/C+G is equal to 1) help me determine whether its a DNA or an RNA?
