Hi Fran, Stella here. I received my book and fabric today. Thank you for all your hard work with my fabric. I loved the computer picture you enclosed. Can't wait to get started. Thanks again.
This is a wonderful video. I love when you show us why you picked particular fabrics and quilt patterns. It is probably a ton of work for you but I so enjoyed it. Thank you!!!
Hello Fran Great show today on alternative fabrics. And swatches that viewers sent in. I'm watching this video and it's 10 hours later. And I just fell in love with the fabric kit caring bouquet. So of course I right away went to try and order 2 sets. And it's out of stock, I'm so disappointed because I just fell in love with this kit. So I put my email address on a notification list. Lesson learned today view this show in the very beginning of the notification. Don't wait even 10 hours like I did, because I lost out on a fantastic kit. Hopefully you will have more of that kit come back in Thanks for the show it was Great. Looking forward to the next one.
Thank you Fran. You are a great teacher. I always learn something from you and your video channel. Great stories and I know that we have all had a fabric that puzzled us, but we love it anyway.
Just came a cross your you tube program today. Thoroughly enjoyed the options you presented to achieve a beautiful quilt. Subscribed to your channel so I could see and learn more. Thanks.
Thank you Fran for that episode. I too have fabric that is 24yrs old and older that I just don’t want to cut up into small pieces and can’t figure a color to coordinate with. You gave me some good ideas.
Absolutely great program Fran - such a wonderful series Fabric Cafe has added to the repertoire. Exquisite choices. I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation. Thank you 😃❤️
Wow! I loved the last one that you show cased from Mimi. That was beyond beautiful too me. The pattern was right on, and I loved the look of it on the digital mock-up. I love when you do that. Great job Fran on your fabric choices, and on the pattern choices.
So interesting to hear and see your process Fran! Such a cool viewer participation show. It will really be awesome when a viewer that sends a sample sends a picture or the quilt in ! 💖
I confess it took me a while to get on board with the concept of 3-Yard Quilts. Happily I can now say that you lovelies at Fabric Cafe converted me to a new way of looking at fabrics and how to bravely cut up some of my stash (gulp!). Your videos are inspiring and relaxing. It's like I'm curled up on a sofa drinking tea and doing hand binding while you're talking to me. Everything is just right!
i wish you would do the demo fabric display on all your demos... so we can see what the quilt will look like for the kit... and i was not sure about the black and white with the the bird fab... but seeing it made up... i really like it
I have learned more about quilting from your channel than any other! I still struggle with matching fabrics. What beautiful choices, Fran, and I especially liked your detailed explanations of why you chose them.
I think this is my 1st time watching matchmaker. I love how you showed alternate choices that weren't quite right. You illustrated things I could see but couldn't describe. Thank you for this series. I'm going to have to go back and watch them all. Your choices for the kits on-sale reflected the original submissions so well. I like how all the fabrics were floral with dark backgrounds because I have had problems matching those too. Great job! And all the lovely stories were a special bonus. Have a great day!
All these quilt kits are stunning, love them. Thank you for all the explanations, you've helped me allow myself to venture out past the normal fabrics.
Really love all three kits. They are beautiful. Liked how you showed a different version and your explanation why the second choice wasn’t your pick. The first fabric sample looked like zinnias--a favorite flower of mine! Enjoyed watching your video!!!
I'm loving all your videos and have quite a few of your books and patterns, either in hard copies or digital downloads. I am hooked!! Can you share what quilt design software you load your patterns into to audition various fabrics? I have EQ7, to be honest have not tried to do it on with that yet (procrastination issues)!! I would love to try out fabrics before sewing. I am in the process of disassembling a "It's a Snap" because fabric #2 was not bringing me Joy in the combo.
Hi Lynn! So glad you're enjoying our show, thanks for being apart of our quilting community! We actually use EQ8 for all of our digital mockups, I would imagine its fairly similar to the version you have and the same could be accomplished. We currently are not in a position to offer much assistance in getting EQ set up for others, but that may be something we can touch on in the future. 😊
@@FabricCafe Thanks so much for your reply! Just so the other viewers know the three fabrics that I used for the pattern I am taking apart were those that I purchased at my LQS and not a kit ordered from Fabric Cafe! I wanted to make that clear, your company is so much better at matching than I am 😊
Hi! Thanks for asking! Fran uses Electric Quilt 8 to do mockups of quilts. It takes a bit to set up as she has to build each pattern for it to work, but with a little knowhow anyone can do it. Best of luck!
Fran, what is the computer program that shows what the fabric looks like? It is so helpful for me to see it since I am not able to visualize the potential of each print. Thanks
Hi Elizabeth, we use "Electric Quilt 8" for our quilt mockups. Unfortunately it's a bit of a learning curve - but if you're up for it I'm sure there are resources online that can help!
Hi Jackie! It varies quilt to quilt, but often times it is a small print with colors that coordinate with the top. We will try to show examples in future videos. 😊 Thanks for watching!
Hi Fran - love this feature you offer. I have a fabric I would love to submit but don’t want to cut it. Would you be able to send it back to me? I bought the fabric in Alaska when my husband and I went on a cruise.
Hi Karen! I am willing to visit with you about your very special fabric. Would you send me an email at WeListen@fabriccafe.com? This way we can discuss more details. Please mention in the email that your inquiry is in regards to the Matchmaker series and it will find me. Thank you! I look forward to hearing from you! Fran
Hi Evelyn! Absolutely! I will link to the digital/downloadable version, but we also offer the physical pattern as well - www.fabriccafe.com/Through-The-Window-Again-Downloadable-Quilt-Pat-p/091721e.htm
Bette, it does look like that in our digital mockup, but that is only because we have that one image of the fabric. In reality, there will be various blocks and cuts out of that one fabric so more heads will make it in. Hope that makes sense!
Wow friend you are a magician. All the quilts are just so beautiful. Thanks for your help.
Sugar pie is gorgeous ❤️❤️
Thank you Fran !!!!
I learn so much from you. Thank you
That makes our day, Pamela! 💜
I LOVE THE RASPBERRY ZINNIA quilt💕💕
I initially questioned the black fabric on the Sandy dilemma but wow you were bang on! And that pink is luscious! You have a great eye!
Your analysis and computer generated models helps me so much. A confidence builder.
Fran, you knocked it out of the park for all 3 quilt fabric and patterns combinations!
Agreed! Absolutely stunning!
Hi Fran, Stella here. I received my book and fabric today. Thank you for all your hard work with my fabric. I loved the computer picture you enclosed. Can't wait to get started. Thanks again.
Another great episode, Fran. Love seeing the swatches get perfectly matched.
This is a wonderful video. I love when you show us why you picked particular fabrics and quilt patterns. It is probably a ton of work for you but I so enjoyed it. Thank you!!!
Oh I love Mimi’s quilt you’ve put together!
What a good job ! I wouldn’t have thought the joy gold fabric would work but it looked so good.
Thank you Ms. Fran. The information you put out today sure made sense in the format you use. Very helpful. I love these videos.
Like you're series. I particularly liked the extra details showing why some combinations work better than others.
So glad to hear that, Kevy! We tried to balance the detailed explanations without getting to lengthy. 😊

Love The Caring Bouquet kit, beautiful.

Thank you Fran for that episode. I too have fabric that is 24yrs old and older that I just don’t want to cut up into small pieces and can’t figure a color to coordinate with. You gave me some good ideas.
Fran you are so lovely!! I really appreciate your fabric combination!! Your style is so beautiful. Thank you.
Fran, I love all your choices - I wish I had your program! At least I have a few of your books to refer to. Such inspiration!
Love these videos
Absolutely great program Fran - such a wonderful series Fabric Cafe has added to the repertoire. Exquisite choices. I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation. Thank you 😃❤️
I think the flowers in the second swatch as zinnias. One of my favorite flowers.
I really appreciate you showing the images. They are all beautiful.
I love your videos, especially the Matchmaker Series. Showing us the computer version of how it will look is very helpful. Thank you so much! Debby
Wow! I loved the last one that you show cased from Mimi. That was beyond beautiful too me. The pattern was right on, and I loved the look of it on the digital mock-up. I love when you do that. Great job Fran on your fabric choices, and on the pattern choices.

Oh my Fran the quilts you have designed are beautiful ☺️. I love all of the fabric cafe videos thanks so much for your inspiration

Your video presentation was outstanding! Your explanations are very educational! Thanks!
Love the fabrics you put together for the deserving ladies, Fran. All kits were very pretty♥️🇦🇺

I agree on showing all the computer images of the kits. Fran puts together for us viewers besides the watch that the viewers sent in.
Number one is beautiful! It looks very Victorian.
I have learned more about quilting from your channel than any other! I still struggle with matching fabrics. What beautiful choices, Fran, and I especially liked your detailed explanations of why you chose them.
I loved all of the fabric choices and patterns 🤩. This series is so much fun! Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
These were terrific!
I think the flowers on your pick are zinnias not chrysanthemums, but I could be wrong. Zinnias are my favorite flower!! Beautiful fabric matches!
I agree, they look like zinnia. Gorgeous!
Agree with you. They are zinnias
These are all great! And (again) I love the digital mock-ups. Thank you!
It's a Snap is my favorite to go pattern I have used it in several quilts So easy and so quick to put together Love love love

Beautiful pairings of fabrics! Such an informative and helpful video -- one of Fabric Cafe's best ever! Thank you, Fran!
Great fabric and patterns. I have the pretty darn quick book. Haven’t used it yet. But that is the first one I bought. Cannot decide which to order.
You did a great job finding the right fabric combinations 🥰
Thanks so much Fran, for sharing your process. Again absolutely beautiful quilts you’ve brought together.
Beautiful fabrics

Hi
Lovely colour matching. Can you advise me what program to buy to use for the colour mock ups of the fabric in the quilts.

Hi. What program do you use to show the fabric and pattern on the computer? Thx! Loved the video!
Hi Melody! We use a program call "Electric Quilt 8." Thanks for watching! 💜

The yellow birds are Evening Gross beaks.
🥰
Can one purchase the pattern "Through the window again alone?
Hi Evelyn! Absolutely! I will link to the digital/downloadable version, but we also offer the physical pattern as well - www.fabriccafe.com/Through-The-Window-Again-Downloadable-Quilt-Pat-p/091721e.htm
Those were zinnias
You cut the bird’s head off

@@FabricCafe thanks for the info. I loved the pattern that you came up with. Beautiful!
The first fabric had roses and birds not gardenias, the second fabric was zinnias not mums.
Stella's fabric to me looks like zinnias.😮
