Great job, Fran. Love the romantic look of the Pinwheel quilt. I will now call myself a “collector” instead of “hoarder” for my obsession with fabrics!!
Fran, you truly are a gifted artist. In every case, you put the fabric submitted in a position that it received a place of importance that honored the request. Then two other fabrics, that worked so well with the first fabric, were brought together to create a fourth, totally unique and very beautiful finished look. Thank you, I just loved watching!
Loved the Pinwheel Party quilt with all the poka dots. The green poka dots in the #3 position really make the quilt pop. Thanks Fran for these amazing tips for fabric selection and how to position it in a quilt.
Hi Fran, you have a wonderful gift of matching fabric colors and patterns and then pairing them with the perfect quilt pattern. I love too that you explained how monochrome colors work in a pattern with lots of movement. You give such good tips. Thank you.
I always enjoy your fabric matching videos, Fran. Your insights have really helped retrain my mind to what supposedly "goes" together because your results look fabulous! Thank you so much for this series you do 😍
Excellent fabric choices once again 👏🎉. I really enjoy this series of fabric and pattern matching, Fran. Always interesting. Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
Goodness the cabbage fabric is amazing. I absolutely adore the fabrics and pattern you have chosen for it. I also love the caladium leaves fabric and contrasts you have chosen. Just gorgeous!
I have 1 yd cuts I would love help with but if I cut off a foot to mail I am afraid I won’t have enough sew the suggested pattern. I love the combos Fran finds .
Hi Susan! No worries, you can send in your 1-yard piece of fabric and we will return it back to you after we match it. You won't have to cut it up at all 😊 Thanks for asking!
I just discovered your UA-cam show. I have really enjoyed it, how to match up my fabrics my sister got me into quilting she used to help me match my fabrics, she passed away three years ago from cancer. I'm glad I found the show now I can work on trying to match up what I have according to what you show thank you
Hi Cathy, so glad you found us! Matching fabric is something we love to do and we try and share as many ideas and tips to help inspire others! So sorry to hear of the loss of your sister, I hope you're able to match together your fabrics and make a beautiful quilt in her honor 😊
Lovely choice of fabrics. And the pattern is so simple, straight forward and stunning. After years of trying to quilt the stitch in the ditch method, I have also changed to wavy lines next to the ditch, or on top of the ditch. Works out much better for me, and any mistake is thought to be part of the wavy line. So I admire your choice of wavy line quilting. Thanks for such clear instructions.
Wow, I learned so much today! Hearing you talk about the weight of the fabric and how to spread it around your quilt was enlightening. Monochromatic is another topic I enjoyed hearing you talk about. I think you could do a full show about that. Guess I'm asking for a show about it. I collect fabric of all kinds, pretty much. I love, love green and that's a big attraction for me! Thank you Fran.
Fran, so glad you showed Rebecca’s cabbage fabric. I have that same piece and bought it because the colors caught my eye. Haven’t used it either. Will keep your suggestions for it. I collect strawberry fabrics; been collecting for 20 years. Hasn’t always been easy to find. I also look for it when I travel.
Fran, your eye for color is amazing. I loved all those quilts but the polka dots from the customer were yummy. I collect all things basset hound which sadly are pretty rare. I like to make items for basset rescue auctions to make funds for needy hounds. Thanks again for the inspiration.
I thought it was fun when you brought out that green polka dot fabric. I had bought some of that to use for our Project Linus Team, we loved it so much and found that it went with so many kids prints we had to go back and buy what they had left. Maybe the kid fabrics have more of those colors.
WOW Fran, I just love all your fabric choices and patterns....such a gift you have. I have a terrible time doing that. But I'm learning so much from you.
I always enjoy your Matchmaker videos, Fran. Today I was surprised to see that I have some of that green polka dot fabric in my stash. Thanks for the great ideas of how to use it!
Your video today was so interesting, because you gave reasons for choosing the fabric that you did. Like on the polka dot fabric was really interesting for me to learn about. Especially, because I am just now getting into polka dot fabric. I loved this video, because it was like a teaching class on fabric's.
I think you hit it out of the park today! I was a bit skeptical of the first combo but the image was so pleasing to the eye. The other two were equally great. 👍🏻👍🏻😊
Hi Lisa! We use Electric Quilt 8 for all of our renderings. However, we have many of our patterns on PreQuilt.com where you can place your own fabrics into the patterns to see what they will look like. You can find PreQuilt here - bit.ly/prequilt - they have a lot of helpful videos on PreQuilt too that you can search and watch. Hope it helps! 🥰
Hi Judy! It varies, but we do a bit of both. Sometimes we will use the same line for all three fabrics, and other times we will mix and match manufactures and lines if they work well together. 😊
Great job, Fran. Love the romantic look of the Pinwheel quilt. I will now call myself a “collector” instead of “hoarder” for my obsession with fabrics!!
Yes! We are all collectors!
Fran, you have a knack for picking out not only a pattern but the fabrics. Always look forward to seeing you do this
That's a beautiful top you're wearing, Fran! You certainly are gifted in fabric matching. I loved all of those, especially crazy for polka dots. 💚
I don’t collect any certain style, just love collecting fabric! ❤😂
I would have never thought I could do 3 fabric with polka dots together. Really great color combo for polka dots! Great job Fran!
I’d love to see you match fabrics again. That is the hardest part of quilting for me!

Great match upset. Especially liked the polka dot combo. Her fabric was not a focus, but really set the small floral off well.
Goodness the cabbage fabric is amazing. I absolutely adore the fabrics and pattern you have chosen for it. I also love the caladium leaves fabric and contrasts you have chosen. Just gorgeous!
I collect cat prints. I usually back my quilts with yardage of cat prints. I'm enjoying your videos and wishing I lived closer to your store!
I have 1 yd cuts I would love help with but if I cut off a foot to mail I am afraid I won’t have enough sew the suggested pattern. I love the combos Fran finds .

Love your fabric selection for Crazy for Polka Dots. Your series is so inspiring! Thank you!
I was amazed with you this time! I mean it is always good but this was wow!
Both of those first shown are gorgeous
I thought it was fun when you brought out that green polka dot fabric. I had bought some of that to use for our Project Linus Team, we loved it so much and found that it went with so many kids prints we had to go back and buy what they had left. Maybe the kid fabrics have more of those colors.
I love these segments thank you Fran!
As always, Fran, a great show! I collect (& use in my quilts) colorful vintage small prints, such as those by Lori Holt. I use a white background.
Oh my goodness the Pinwheel Party using Ann’s fabric was gorgeous. I’m tempted to take the plunge and get the kit!
Great tutorial. Fran you are very talented for matching your colors.
Loved all of the fabrics and patterns! Fran, you always do a great job with matchmaking!
My favorite is the polka dot combination!
Oh my! I have the same polka dot fabric. I have it slated for a backing for "Spools"
♡ polka-dot and paisley fabrics.
Beautiful!
Hi Fran, every quilt was beautiful. I’m learning so much from your match making choices. Thank you - always a fun watch. ❤😊🌺

Enjoyed all 3 patterns - and - Fran, I love your top ❣

Fran, you do an amazing job! I’m not just saying that because my family is from Gladewater! I will have to send some of my challenges in one day. 😊
😊 Thank you, and yes! Send them our way!
Interesting and fun !
I had two of the four fabrics in the swatches. I feel like a winner!
ding ding ding! 🌟🌟
Love the third pattern and what you did with persons fabric❤
I love these episodes. You do a terrific job with them. I need to get mine in the mail to you.
Very informative. Thank you for your insight and suggestions.
I really love your top, Fran.
Awesome job on coordinating fabric.
Love your shirt. Also love all the fabrics you have picked out
You're so sweet 💜
Interested in that book.
Great matching ❤
I would love to see fabrics 2 and 3 reversed in the first quilt shown.
I think most of those prints would have shone with being cut smaller and having more coordinating fabrics included.
Love your shirt. Where did you get it? Love your quilts
Hi Shari, and thank you! I get most of my shirts from shopmyfairlady.com/
I totally love your top where did you buy please?
You're so sweet, Treva. I buy most of my tops from www.shopmyfairlady.com!
May I ask what software you use to create your quilt renderings
Fabric Cafe, when finding color matches, do you choose fabric from the same line?
Hi Judy! It varies, but we do a bit of both. Sometimes we will use the same line for all three fabrics, and other times we will mix and match manufactures and lines if they work well together. 😊
