Hey, thanks for watching! If you appreciate that I publish a devastatingly honest review like this, let me know. And you could help me out by liking the video, too. :)
I just presented at a virtual conference that used click meeting - it was a fabulous experience for all of us - attendees, room hosts and presenters - they've obviously taken your comments to heart
It seems they've fixed the screensharing problem. I would love to see an updated review! Thanks so much for the work you put into these. Super helpful.
You seem to be a user for that, for now, I need to on-demand webinar like, People sing up for free Training and they were given an option if they can watch it instantly or scheduled for later hrs or day, does this do that, or do you have any suggestions plz help me
Hello Shane, We saw your review on ClickMeeting and frankly, we really liked it and appreciate all the feedback you are giving us. We want to thank you for the time and effort you spent preparing this incredibly detailed material. Thank you for pointing out our mistakes, we acknowledge them and are sorry that you experienced them. Right now our team is working on the desktop sharing feature based on native browser solutions, so we can avoid similar troubles in the future. We have sent you a separate private message to explain it further, however we want to let you and your audience know, that we’re taking actions to improve the product and always value our customers’ feedback. We still believe we can be the best solution on the market! We look forward to hearing from you, Magda from ClickMeeting
Thank you for your comment! I'm happy to see that you're more interested in improving your solution than defending it. I think that's an awesome attitude and I'm looking forward to testing an improved ClickMeeting in the future.
Hey I'm watching this video a year after posting and am looking for a solution to recommend to a protfolio of clients. Can anyone confirm if the issues raised have officially been resolved?
Hello. Can you recommend an online platform best suited for my situation. I teach courses online. I have about 100 students per course. I was considering Click Meeting but they only allow you to see 49 students at a time. I also would like the ability to download my recording in high definition. Any suggestions?
I've been a user of ClickMeeting since 2013 and haven't encountered many of the issues you are talking about. There's no need to share your screen to present. I convert my presentations (Google Slides) to PDFs and present them within the system. I can also screen share when I want to do a demo. I think they support PowerPoint natively, but I'm a Mac/Chromebook user and don't use Office at all.
I don't use PDFs or the intergrated slides feature in webinar presentations because A) I use animations and transitions in my presentations as a core feature of making things more salient and easier to follow and B) I frequently switch from presentation to showing things on screen (e.g. how to use a software app). Functioning screen sharing is 100% a must-have feature in a webinar platform, especially considering how much they cost.
I checked out "Bigmarker" looks like they have a ton of features. $79 dollars a month for only 100 seats seems pretty high though. Do you know of anyone using it?
@@taxidermycoach5847 Apparently two of us on this thread, lol. Yes, it's pricey, but I got in on a lifetime deal that was reasonable. Will be interested to see where Shane rates it.

Hi again, we've already sent some responses here, but we'd like to make it more official. ClickMeeting has improved the screen sharing feature. Now you can start sharing your whole desktop, specific window, or a chosen browser tab. All without any installations, available within your browsers. We even made a video tutorial on it! ua-cam.com/video/GYaezmG__wk/v-deo.html We'd love to hear your feedback on the improved feature. Best, ClickMeeting Team
I was wondering if you guys improved that. From all the reviews I watched on Active Growth, ClickMeeting seemed the best one for me. Thank you for the upadte.
@@brunoaccioly3736 Hi Bruno! We did. We have totaly new browser based screen sharing feature next to the classic one (app) which was also improved. You can choose the one you like the most. @@Clickmeeting Hi ClickMeeting Team!, I'm a Marketer in a certain company that is tasked with finding a webinar solution, Where I can host Webinars for my colleagues to present in without actually appearing in the webinar myself. I will only be moderator in these webinars and is it possible for more than one presenter to appear in the webinar?
@@fourpointpin2832 Hi! The max number of presenters depends on the chosen plan. Bigger the plan (more attendees) more presenters are allowed at the same time. For instance. 100 attendee live plan allows for 3 presenters at once.
I think you're using a side-effect to accomplish something for which there is a direct method. At about 5:15, you return to the Enable Q&A button on the left in order to click the Show Question List button so you can see the questions listed so you can select one to publish, but I believe that's unnecessary; you should be able to just click on the Q&A Mode tab above the chat box to switch to viewing the list of questions, which is much easier and more intuitive.
@@ActiveGrowth Yes! I figured that out after posting my comment. Apologies for having misled you about that. While I have you, let me ask if you are planning an update to this review; I gather that a major overhaul of ClickMeeting was rolled out in July, and the screen-sharing architecture has been revamped to include Chrome's native sharing facility. I am very interested in the platform, but I'm not in a position to do a large-scale performance test (100+ attendees), so I was hoping you would refresh your excellent review with an eye towards determining if those changes addressed the major shortcomings you found. Thank you for all your outstanding work in this area!
I am using Clickmeeting for like a month for now and all the features are working very well ! the system is excellent and all my audiences are happy about it ! I completely disagree with you ! i think that you must retry it !
When you do pool survey attendees need to scroll their screen to se it. Many are confused. Another point is that when you do pool survey on recording it simple is not visible (there is a big screen on recording showing how many atendees resonsed, but the results are not visble) - this is unacceptable and make recording uselees.
I have just tried ClickMeeting for the first time. I think that you didn’t mention in the review that if you want to share your desktop you have two options: "Open in browser" (recommended) and "run in app". If you choose "Open in browser" option you don’t have to download any external app. I have tried it several times and it works perfectly.
Hi Artur, we're really happy it worked. We've recently improved our screen sharing feature, Shane here tested it before our update and, unfortunately, it didn't perform well. Best, ClickMeeting Team
@@ActiveGrowth I eagerly await your review. I have had reasonably good experience with Zoom, and it has improved over the 4 years I have used it. I've also found the help desk to be responsive.
Hi Shane, thanks for review - glad it wasn't just me! I tested with colleague and fine - then in real thing it was disasterous! If I were CM, I would think about holding off new subscribers for a while until these issues are fixed - otherwise they're just burning through their potential market!
Hi Adam, thank you for your comment. We appreciate all feedback, whether positive or negative. Recently we have improved our screen sharing It's now 100% browsed-based and doesn't require additional apps. We're really sorry for the bad experience and hope you decide to test us out again! Cheers, ClickMeeting Team
I have tested the latest version and absolutely cannot recommend this platform. The test version does not offer a recording function and the implemented YoTube function hardly works at all. The picture and sound quality is poor and the whole program requires fast computers of the participants and also a fast DSL connection, only then halfway satisfactory results can be achieved. The whole program does not run reliably and stable. Zoom works much more stable and reliable and also with weaker hardware !
This is disappointing, ClickMeeting looked so promising but presentation materials going toes up during presentation makes a program unusable. Oh well.
Hi there, we've done a couple of improvements to screen sharing, so it is working fine now. We still hope you decide to give us a try. Best, ClickMeeting Team
