@@DannyGruesomeit doesn't. there was a british show about life during WWII and in one episode they tested removing the dye from black market diesel by filtering it through bread. the diesel does not make the bread fall apart. but it needs to be plain white unfortified bread. so you don't get butter or other oils mixed in with the diesel.

If you use cat litter to filter it and let it gravity feed itself it will come out almost crystal clear
