But this man wasn't a thug. He was a 'normal' white-collar working man and he seemed like he had money being that he took her out to dinner at an upscale restaurant where Janet Jackson's character, who is rich, was also having dinner. He seemed like a gentleman until he got into her apartment and did what he did. That's the problem...a lot of men put on this 'nice guy' act but their true colors always come out. She screwed up letting him know WHERE she lived after having one date with him and letting him into her place on the 2nd date. Huge no-no. And...BTW....a rapist can be any type of man, doesn't always have to be a thug because I'm sure some thugs aren't rapists.
