Learning this to play at the beginning of band rehearsal when everyone else is still faffing about.
Exactly what I will do ;-)
😂
Update: played it while staring hard at drummer as he was adjusting hats for the nth time. Got stick thrown at me. Goal achieved.
Well I know what I’m doing with my days off. I can already tell this is gonna be a great lesson
Thank you so much for this video! As soon as I saw the title I knew I had to save it to focus on after the holidays and I'm glad I did. While I love playing jazz (and every other kind of music, that's why I'm here!), walking bass is something I knew about but didn't fully understand what was going on. This lesson (and the Patreon tab) are a huge step forward for me!
This is great Adrian. Solo pieces like this are wonderful additions to any player’s toolbox. Nice thing is it’s playable on acoustic as well and no backing track needed.
Such wonderful and fascinating music choices, Adrian. Love the things that grab your ear and make you want to play, and, of course, really love it when it share it with the likes of us. You have SUCH a gift! Thank you.
Such a great channel . Adrian man, once again you make me look like a way better guitarist than i am with your cunning lessons . Merry Christmas
Excellent lesson! You cover a *lot* of ground here - even the backdoor dominant! 👏
This is so beautifully in the pocket of what I need to learn, and right at the apex of challengingly my abilities. LOVE it!
Too cool for school! And it can be used in blues and similar genres, thank you!
Thank you for this amazing lesson! Extremely helpful!
Jazzbo Friday!
Fantastic lesson! Can't wait to dig in.
OOO Great lesson Adrian, thank you so much!
Well done Adrian. Mastering this has been in my bucket list for some time. Thanks for the lesson.
This looks really fun to play.
Your versatility is both amazing and inspiring! Thanks for the great lesson
Can you do a follow up with a Jazz Standard. 🙏
Great lesson Adrian. Thanks
Thank you Adrian..you are very helpful!
Great video, I would love a video going more in-depth into making the walking bass with more swing.
Vox makes some great gear
I like this! Thank you!
Love it!
Great as usual
Many thanks Adrian
Thank You! 👍🏻
Glorious
Too many good tutorials recently from you and too little time to finish them. Looking forward to this one as well. Need to get good the last one though.
NICE one Adrian!! Made me spontaneously think of one of my very favorite musicians/band/group! Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks. One of my very favorite tunes, that I also worked out, is "You Gotta Believe. There's quite a bit of real solid and swinging rhythm guitar in there too. Lots of very cool moves. Thanks for a real informative and very well explained insight into this style!!!
Man, I loved Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks. Some truly fantastic music came out of them, and I think it's time for a revisit.
The walking one and only.
Great stuff! Maybe some osees sometime?
Thank you :)
Hi Anyone Can Play Guitar, could you do the guitar tutorial of "Give me Everything" by Magazine, I would be really grateful😉
Nice.
I would love to see a tutorial on how to play 92 degrees by Siouxsie and the Banshees.
