I'm a caregiver and aspiring nurse. I've been looking for information about dementias, specifically Parkinsonian dementia, to better understand my client who presents with the entire constellation of symptoms associated Parkinson's. His case is very well-advanced and there is just SO much going on that I need to learn more. Your videos are very helpful. Thanks.

My son sent my family this video. Thank you for the information, my mother who is 90 years old has been recently diagnosed with LBD. It's very challenging but as a family we just want to do whats best for my mother and help her to live a healthy and happy life.

Thank you for your videos. My Mom has had Lewy Body dementia for about 3 years. It was a gradual change but these past few months she seems to be in stage 6. There are days she remembers things from the past and we have a good laugh, then she will ask when we are going home I asked her what is home to her, it is the home we lived in since I was 7. I'm 52 now. We have bernard loving in an apt together for the past 7 years. She sees bunnies, birds when there are only leaves, a tall man in black with a black straw hat, but she isnt afraid. It is an adventure. I love her so much. We are both widows. She has all the symptoms of stage 6. I will be with her until thw end to help her through to her next journey. ❤

My husband is 74 , has been keeping lists for several years, as a tool to remind him of things to do.. Recently he has had REM sleep disorder.. has had 2 violent dreams, also having auditory hallucinations.. ( hearing someone calling ) Also has had memory deficits.. asking me "who is that"? The maid of honor in our wedding pictures.. his symptoms come and go.. also has a hand tremor.. he refuses to see a numerologist..Im convinced he has LB

Melissa can people who developed schizophrenia relatively early in life (early mid 20s) ever find love or date? Is it integral for us to tell the person we might date about our condition on the first date? I am a well presenting person with schizophrenia. I have lost several years to it and feel i could start living my life again now as i did receive medication for it. Is it forgivable for me to withhold information from the people i like? For how long?

My father has had medical issues for the past 30 years. Back problems degenerative disc disease a bunch of other stuff. A few years back he fell and hit his head and was in the hospital. He was told he had a bunch on lesions on the 🧠, they said he has MS. He is also starting to hear a cat in our garage, sees a cat in our house, he's have visual and audio hallucinations and if I tell him it's not happening he gets really mad like I'm calling him a list. It's getting really hard to deal with. He never told his Dr about this stuff so I went with him and told the dr and he got mad. He doesn't want to come to grips with having dementia...what should I do????? I'm 40 he's 66.

Imagine an LBD sufferer to be in control of a bus, a plane, or the nuclear button...
