Man I can’t wait to hear/see this thing around town, Powerstrokes always sound pissed off when they’re opened up. Once your warranty is gone I think tuning/deleting this thing will be 👌🏼
uin45 I hope so, paying for brand new diesel truck isn’t cheap so I’d imagine he’d wanna keep that thing as long as possible to make sure you get your money’s worth, and use the warranty to its fullest. Unless there’s some major flaw or some stupid good trade offer comes up I see no reason to keep this truck any less than 200k especially after a tune/delete
Good video. I’ve installed one on my ‘14F150 Limited that I just traded for my ‘20 F250 Platinum ! Bout to install tonight. Just an FYI, if you want more whistle noise, a delete would do the trick.
Yoooo, what a crazy freaking coincidence that you're putting around DeLand. I'm born and raised in DeLand! Might see ya around some time good luck on your build in the future
Wouldn't leaving the side plug on the box out allow heat from the engine bay in? I am also confused by the round foam piece that we have to install on the side of the box. I have the S&B ordered for my 2023 I just bought. I can not wait to install it.
I love all these people saying delete it . THERE ARE NO DELETE KITS OUT FOR THE 2020s yet unless you want to bench tune the ecu which includes shipping it out !
When I lay on my accelerator pedal hard, I feel my 2022 f350 lurching…. It will accelerate hard, but lurch art shifts I believe. I’m not sure if its traction breaking at the tires before shifts or stability control taking into effect… do you get these symptoms? My truck has 800 miles now.
10 speed? If so go get it looked at by the dealer. I had to have my 2020 transmission replaced at 1200 miles because of transmission issues. Lurches sometimes going from 2nd to 3rd/4th. Think it has something to do with the "smart" shifting it does.
@@TheSyntheticOmega yeah mine does it on slow acceleration…. It’ll accelerate and then fall flat like it had no power and the. Pick up again. Only does it at the start of driving
Which p/n of the S&B did you use? I've got the same truck, and use it for HotShotting and would like to install a cold air intake as well as go with a performance tunner. Any input would be appreciated as this 10mpg when under load is forcing me off the road.
Just curious, if you wanted noise, why did you go with the closed filter vs the larger open one? Thanks for the video, exactly what I needed to see/hear. I'm going to try the larger open one for even more sound, although that's just a guess.
Bro she’s nice change the exhaust than you will hear the turbo way more but she’s a nice truck I have 01 7.3 but Andrew you must put a leveling kit trust me
My mini-stroke F150 is even quieter. I went with an S&B intake and a 4" AFE exhaust and it's still quiet. I want my diesel to sound like a diesel, dammit!
There is a reason there is a speed limiter. Your driving a solid axel truck they aren’t designed for 100+. Get a Chevy if your looking for the brodozer.
Get a aftermarket exhuast to compliment the air intake..the sound and performance will be what ur looking for ..dont straight pipe it and ruin a brand new truck
Look into Diesel Technician Society if you'd like to learn more. The S&B along with probably most filters will flow more for a short period of time. The OEM filter will out flow them once both are equally dirty or used. Basically if your running both setups lets say usual dusty job site the OEM will out flow the aftermarket. There is a ton or torque management as you probably already can tell, the truck won't even make full boost till 5th/6th gear. The HellCat is the same it doesn't get to 11 psi till the middle of 3rd gear. Hopefully the tuners can fix this, still have awhile it looks like before tunes will start getting refined.
Two recommendations: 1. Blue Spring - help that fuel injector. 2. Throttle Booster - reduces that turbo lag and will help you control that rear end slide These are good prerequisites before your delete and tunes. 👍🏻
Exhaust will give you what you’re looking for
i’m doing both of them at the same time monday 😏
I've been looking for good sound clips of the S&B for an hour for my 6.7 and you just happened to upload this tonight. What a nice surprise haha
Haha same here I couldn’t find much when I was waiting for mine to come in
Mustang Lifestyle looks like I’m buying one now. I’m hoping I’ll really hear it and notice some gains since my truck is deleted
If you really want the whistle, Kc turbos just came out with a turbo that’s sounds just like a 10 blade 6.0’s turbo. They sound crazy
I loved my 6.0 but I will never go back. my 2022 6.7 is hands down the best truck I have ever owned. Only 80k more miles and then I can tune it!
Man I can’t wait to hear/see this thing around town, Powerstrokes always sound pissed off when they’re opened up. Once your warranty is gone I think tuning/deleting this thing will be 👌🏼
You really think he’ll have the truck for 5 years or 100k miles.

Make sure to use slippery mode when it’s wet outside. You’ll have way more control and should be safer. But when dry outside keep it in sport mode!

Im researching non oem air intakes. Im being led to believe factory systems are well done design. Thanks for all you do.
When you change out the exhaust is when you will really here the turbo
Funny how you wanted one gain but got performance as the other.
Nice video, keep them coming.
It's insane how much of a difference the tune makes
Is your 2020 Tuned?
@@MustangLifestyleTV no but I've been in a couple 6.7s that were tuned and the power difference from stock is insane

exhaust would be your answer to get your little turbo noises you want......

Put it in sport mode, it will help
These don't have sport mode.... Sport mode traction control is lame and useless
Those turbos have a silencer ring

@@Subi_doo yep. I don’t know if it’s the computer or what but I’d rather just shift through all the gears then the weird gear skipping
Bad ass truck 🔥🔥🔥🌪
I don’t know if missed on the video but when is exhaust stuff coming? That will free up some turbo noise
2020 Modifications are very limited. Waiting for release of some new products
This made my Engine air filter status system fault go off, did it make yours go off?

Put your truck in manual and 2nd gear and you can roast the tires off thru another 4-5 gears
Can you say turbo noise just a few more times please?
why does it say to unhook batteries?? i have never done this before installing intakes...is there a reason
I’m not quite sure I just followed the instructions
Resets the computer to see the Mass Air Flow sensor with the increase of flow. Otherwise it may cause a check engine light.
What do you get out of driving with the tracktion control off I noticed it was off
Go ahead and do the full tune and delete on it and make a video

The lid can be removed
You need to strait pipe it then you’ll here a lot of turbo
You can always tell a rich kid he's got more money than he knows what to do with spend it well my friends spend it will
Does it suck gas now?

you should delete it. nothing but benefits, such as sound and mpg and engine health

Delete it and your mpg would increase and better reliablity
Delete what
Tristan Smirnow It, just the whole truck.
Tristan Smirnow the exhaust emissions. they are very restricting in power, sound, mpg, and over all engine health.

Definitely faster. Speedo climbs quicker.
Need a Single turbo if you wanna hear the turbo
6.7's are a single turbo truck, the 6.4 was the only powerstroke to come from the factory with a compound setup
Sean Marek well eh it’s a dual compressor turbo
Can’t really hear anything different
Get it deleted and you will have all the turbo noise you want
